The best restaurants in Epping Forest East of England

Chicken shish kebabs ordered very disappointing quite dry chicken and bread was hard ! Very expensive ! Won’t be using again for take away food . Have been in the restaurant before and it has always been very nice so this experience was very disappointing.

Really nice pub with friendly staff and customers. Lovely real fire.

Waited 15 mins for our table even though we booked in advance then proceeded to wait 2 hours for our dinner until we decided to leave without eating. very poor service.

New management i left my glasses at the pub. Phone and website dont work... How we suppose to get in contact with pub?

Ordered 3 garlic nans but only received 2, trying to get refund for 1 but there is no help at all. Only edible things were daal and rice, everything else lacked flavour and was overly too sweet

The Italian is okay but the Japanese is very mixed. Some of the rolls are okay but I ordered a chicken and veg ramen and was totally tasteless. It tasted like water with some chicken and frozen vegetables thrown in and they were all English veg not Asian ones. Very strange. Would be good if they learnt how to make some Japanese dishes properly

Lovely food, good choice of dishes, helpful and friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Far too slow and food is poor. Serving staff are pleasant but lack experince. 25 mins to bring coffees. Far too long when you have a limited lunch break. Jacket potato has that old taste like it had been in the fridge for a few days. Expensive and left as all underwhelmed. Such a shame as it used to be great.

Went to Costa today with my husband I do regularly seen everything dirty and rubbish at the same time sofas and tables i was shocked I never seen before any costa branch! Disappointed

Well done ladies we had a lovely Xmas dinner well worth the money and good service
