The best restaurants in Fenland East of England

Now 5 stars due to new owners and great food

It's been 6 months or so since I worked in March long enough to get a pint. Still the best bar in town by a long shot.

This place is pretty dank. It feels unclean and the staff really didn't give a toss that we were even there. The food was ok in flavour but something felt off and I didn't feel great after. Wasnt a good experience..

This is a genuine review, first time trying tonight, food is fresh cooked to order, fish was good, chips are banging, curry sauce nice, sausage could use a slightly bit more batter on them (personally) staff are friendly and polite will order again thanks guys well done

Positive experience overall. However the staff kept interrupting asking if everything was fine several times and if we finished eating which didn't feel welcoming. Food was great. They didn't have a drinks menu for some reason but I was able to order what I wanted.

Amazing steak. Great service. Pleasantly amazed at the atmosphere and quality of food! We were after somewhere quiet with good steak and got more than what we wanted. I definitely recommend.

such a lovely place to eat and drink. innovative menu, wonderful range of drinks on tap and a recent vibrant redecoration job make this a must-visit every time I'm in town now

Poor delivery man seemed rushed

We had booked for a party of 20, though had a few drop out through illness. After drinks in the very friendly bar we were asked to make our way to the restaurant. Wow!! The pub had really pulled out all the stops for us. Decorated tables and everything. Food and service was fantastic. The two minor complaints were dealt with very quickly and satisfactory. Well done the Elm Tree, Rock Choir will be back I'm sure.
