The best restaurants in Forest Heath East of England

This wine bar is just what Newmarket has been waiting for. Visited yesterday with my girl friends as part of our Christmas celebrations - lovely wine and great cocktails with a bit of Karaoke thrown in - what's not to like? Will definitely be going back soon.

Delivery came very quickly, but the food was so dry and we could not eat it. The chicken chunks were too dry to eat and korma sauce was thick and unappealing. Will not repeat this experience. The sauces for poppadoms were sparse and dry. Total waste of money.

Went on New Year’s Eve. Great service from all staff, food was fantastic and all very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Just had probably the best Sunday roast i have ever had out , it is absolutely a quality family run pub, have booked a return vist already , such a friendly welcome just a total pleasure.

Over the last 5 years this has been my go to place that ticks all the boxes - I have 2 young children so to be able to have a hot drink, delicious homemade food at a very reasonable price in the comfort and environment that is completely catered for children has been a god send. Would highly recommend!

Good place to enjoy and time pass , good ambience and many more, the pub is traditional and the owner is so cool and chill, love to go there again and again, highly recommended for who is looking traditional pubs even can park your car outside as well

Amazing cod: crunchy and not greasy at all. The chips are of great quality as well, which is an usual thing to find as of lately. And the cherry on the cake is a super friendly owner.

Lovely food , great communication to say was running late which was fine because they called which a lot of places don’t
