Excellent food and service and very reasonable wine list prices for a restaurant. Pickle tray had some lovely sauces . Mixed Kebabs were great with Samosa, tandoori king prawn , sheekh kebab and chicken tikka with salad garnish. We tried the North Indian Garlic chilli chicken and the Goan Chicken Xucuti with a keema nan and mushroom rice. Both the main course had plenty of chilli heat which we liked.

I used this cafe with my mate regularly. We went weekly up till I ended up moving. I wish we had a cafe like this local now. It a great place, and I miss it. Great food, price and staff. I will be returning.

Great food and really friendly service. When a small mistake was made with one order it was corrected quickly and we all had a really enjoyable meal.

No booking prior, dropped in on a cold busy night. Greeted with a smile. Our hostess Cicely was great, always checking in to make sure we wanted for nowt, but never intrusive. The vegan spaghetti bolonagise with lentils was very tasty and the lentils added a good bite. Christmas special pigs in blankets, crispy sage carbonara was great. Recommendation to the chef to keep the crispy sage as this adds another element to a classic. Pigs in blankets, my eyes were bigger than my belly. Thank you Cicely for looking after us.

One of the better restaurants in Elveden. Christine, who looked after us, was a gem, both helpful and amusing. She was very attentive to our son with learning difficulties and also to our toddler granddaughter The food was very nice too.

Place is nice and well presented. Menu different to the indians i tend to go to. The food game fast enough after poppedom starter. good quality and enjoyed. Main - ordered jalfrezi extra hot, burnt ginger and chilli rice. Garlic nan. Honestly it wasnt the best curry i have had looked the part but all dishes lacked in flavour for me. Nan was light and looked amazing just lacked the garlic taste. Filled a hole but just needed abit of spice and a stronger flavour and would have been great. Wouldnt return im afraid as the prices are on upper end and lacked the flavour.

We got a takeaway over the weekend with family and used the delivery. The food was hot and very tasty when it arrived. We all enjoyed the Indian and I would recommend this place to visit if in the area

Have visited the Bedford lodge before. Went for a Christmas party night. Food was absolutely terrible. Starter was ok, main Christmas dinner - vegetables rock hard (more than al dente)potatoes tasted horrible. Cheese and crackers for dessert, crackers were soft. Very disappointed.
