The best restaurants in Toddbrook Harlow East of England

I visited The Clock House on the night of 09th/11/2024 unfortunately, I got robbed outside the pub. Well, I reported the matter to the Police etc.. Following up on the case, I came back to the pub, Aaron was working. I spoke with him (explaining what happened) ....he was brilliant. Very polite and kind. Literally so helpful. Yes, I got robbed and naturally, I wouldn't have had the need to come back to the pub but I did, just to try and trace my stuff while the Police also do their part. I'm glad I came back, Aaron has restored my trust in humanity. I will not be scared of these scumbags on the loose....

I went to nando's for the first time with my sister-in-law and I had a very nice meal the staff were very nice.

Just got home from Harlow waffle and more , having held a premium birthday party package. I can honestly say the staff were brilliant, polite, welcoming and professional. The venue kept 30 9yr old kids entertained for 3 hours, no fights , no tears, no stresses. There was lots of exited noise , which was good to hear. The food was spot on, great value and plenty of it, banana ice cream was a bonus too, plenty of squash fir the kids , we never had to ask for top ups they just appeared. The parents that stayed were provided with limitless tea and coffee. The birthday cake provided in the package was huge! And lovely, they even had birthday candles for it. Each child received a pick and mix pot of sweets to take home. Super day had by everyone, fantastic value and not stress. Thank you for a great party 🥳 highly recommended.

Best Kebabs around, polite staff and very clean. Amazing portions too. Highly recommended.

Waited 1.5 hours for the drink to leave. Order arrived but driver lost we had to go out to find him … then order was incorrect. No marshmallows or cream in hot choc which I paid extra for. The size was a medium and I paid for a large. Awful.

May just be about one of the worst venues I've ever been in. Staff overworked with no direction by the management. Asked to see the basement as I heard that's where they keep all the tips they keep from their staff, was shown the door. Heard it was a celeb hotspot but the only tits on show where the owners.

I've ordered here a thousand times and used to love it. My last two orders have been disappointing. I'm not sure if they have changed suppliers but their chicken burger now has almost no taste at all. The sides have always been rubbish, no corn on the cob just a little sweaty pot of corn, average to bad gravy and icky coleslaw. But the burgers made up for it. Sadly now this has changed I won't be using them again. It's a shame because dixy in other locations have great sides and the chicken tastes lovely. What happened 😭

Highly recommend tasty food with good customer service the uncle aftab but is great men long live .

The initial service was good. Drinks orders were taken very quickly but we then waited an hour and forty minutes for food to be served, and when it arrived it wasn’t hot and was very bland. It wasn’t particularly busy either but people arriving after us were being seated and leaving quicker than us. Wouldn’t return

Best burgers for 1000000 miles. If you’ve not been here before you must, honestly never had a burger like it anywhere in the world, taste amazing, literally can’t wait till I’m hungry tomorrow!!!

Have eaten fish and chips from My Plaice for a few years and recommended them to friends and family. However the last few times we and others have been disappointed with the chips. They are not being cooked well and are limp and soggy. The potatoes could be the reason but the chips look very pale.

Well contrary to the info presented in the map this is simply a garage with a costa coffee machine, no loos & nowhere to sit down. Probably fine if you've been up all night in the hospital and need a coffee, but don't divert here if you need a proper break.

Always a pleasant experience! The food, fries and shakes are always delicious.

Lovely, Staff very helpful and welcoming, especially the Manageress..... I will defo be visiting again soon.
