The best restaurants in Luton East of England

I tried to pay by card and he said i need cash than tried to take out cash but my card won't allow me as i was past my cash out limit, he didn't let me pay by card and i just left afterwards. That was the main reason i went there because i knew they got a card pay machine unlike the other ones around there but he still didn't let me pay by card.

Absolutely awful food was burnt and it was late , chips over cooked chicken burger cremated

We’ve been to this hidden gem quite a few times now and they definitely don’t disappoint. Food is always a chef’s kiss. Very lovely people and even met the chef the first time we visited. They have live music on Fridays and cocktails were at a very good price! Everytime my husband orders drinks on my behalf the lady always double checks with me if I ordered the right thing after coming back from the wash room. Talk about safety as well 🙏🏽 It says they close at 10:30PM and we stayed later as we lost track of time and the drinks were so good and they didn’t even rush us at all. Will always recommend and come back to this place 💓

Great place to visit, service can be slow but it is a busy pub which is great to see

Delivery service is really bad needs alot of improvement and customer service needs to be updated. They need to know how to deal with customers in a respectable manner.

It's very rare im blown away, especially with shisha bars/reataurants. I'm from out of town and came with my brothers. This place has amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing service. Nothing is too much, the staff really make the place. The food is gorgeous. 10/10 I recommend.

We stayed overnight to fly to Gran canary’s We went to Foggs restaurant it was just what we needed after travelling 3 and half hours from Lincolnshire. We had brilliant service from the boys in the restaurant and bar food was good very reasonably priced. Thank you Vicky and Andrew

Nice, This is very good wetherspoon app. Easy pay with table number any drinks and foods 👌 If you have dinner from pub classic section between 2-5pm it’s under £10 actually £9.16 including drink beer etc. check that also it included fish and chips and many more. Out of Indian curry, chicken ticka Massala is the best. Try next time. You get 2 poperdoms, rice, chicken curry pot and naan. Can change side dish for example you can get chips instead of rice. Or order extra dish by paying more money. Read the side orders.

I had a highly disappointing experience at Nando's Luton Town Centre on June 11, 2024. During my lunch break, I ordered a Mediterranean salad, 1/2 avocado, and chicken thigh to go. Upon returning to work, I discovered mushrooms in my salad, to which I am allergic. This ingredient was not listed on the menu, which is a serious oversight. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who advised me to come back to the restaurant for a refund. As I had already taken my lunch break, this was not possible. He assured me that the mushrooms were from the olives (something not mentioned on the menu) and that I would receive a refund. Despite my efforts, including visiting the restaurant twice and leaving my contact information, I received no callback or refund. When I visited the restaurant again to resolve the issue, I was met with extreme rudeness from the manager, Jay. He accused me of lying about the mushrooms and was dismissive of my concerns. His unprofessional behavior was unacceptable, especially considering the potential health risk involved. If I had consumed the food, I could have been seriously ill, possibly requiring hospitalization. The lack of concern and poor customer service at this branch is appalling. I strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from this location, especially if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Merlin was fabulous, great service, food was fantastic, specially fish and chips. Enjoy guys, this restaurant cares about quality 🥇

Clean and tidy and staff helpful

Corner House chinese food was a joke, his reply to my first review is an absolute lie and it had nothing to do with pick up we went in to order and waited so get your FACTS right what we complained about was the lack of food quality, who orders chilli beef and it is the colour of an orange lol an absolute joke 😃 just own it your business is going down the pan, like the food lol and you just reply 8 months after I wrote the review your customer service is 🚻

Had a vegetable curry, sauce was quite watery and not a lot of it, been coming here for years and never had a complaint, hope its a one off
