Nice enough pub but the lunch was a letdown

First time in this pub to meet some colleagues one evening, very busy, good range of beers, had some food, which I really enjoyed, great atmosphere, Friday evening so very lively

Awful place got there and no welcome. Was over run with kids just racing around and screaming. Parents just seating there. Place was dirty. Carvery needed better roast potatoes. And 2 other members of the party had to wait over an hour for thier meal. While kids screams run around crashing Into us. Nothing was said or done about it. Waited ages to be served.

We pre-booked a table for a family gathering over the Christmas break. I asked to be placed close to the softplay center due to having younger children with us. We where sat close to the in door softplay. There is also an outside play area which is viewable from the inside play center. The service was amazing. staff where helpful and kind and accommodating to extra requests (extra gravy for the roast dinners etc etc). Only criticism was not enough gravy on the roast. Food was hot when served and for a party as large as ours (11 people) it was served quickly together. Would visit again in both both winter and summer because of the inside and outside softplay. Please note the softplay is only one side of the pub, there is amble seating for families that do not wish to sit near the softplay area and be disturbed.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner with family at The Millstream. The food was tasty, with generous portions, and there was a good variety to suit everyone. A special thanks to Jessie, our waitress, who was friendly and attentive throughout. She made sure everything ran smoothly and added to the positive experience. We’ll definitely be back for another visit soon!

Excellent approach to serving gluten free customers. So refreshing! On entry I said I was coeliac and the lady said they could cater for me. I asked if they had a separate toaster for gluten free and she said yes. Server had good knowledge of items on the menu. Happy to do me what I wanted even though not on the menu. Brought my food separately from my other friends but delivered in a very reassuring way. Food was also very tasty!

Great service friendly staff and really good value for money buffet, all of our party had a fab time.

A lovely little stop off for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to stopping again

Booked a table of 3 with friends on a busy Saturday night . The restaurant is busy and bright - good for friends but perhaps not a romantic meal out ! Service efficient and friendly. Food reasonable although my crispy pork was most definitely not crispy so I wouldn’t choose that again . Plenty to choose from on the menu though. Food prices reasonable- wine on the pricey side !

I know it’s quite weird but I spent over 80 £ in Tesco Tuesday the 14th at 3:30 pm. I had quite a lot of issues going on so that I forgot an item I bough and left in the scanner. After I paid I just went home. When I went back they didn’t want to give it to me. Even if I paid for it. Even if I forgot it. If someone have stolen from you you check CCTV and transaction. But you have stolen from me and said there is nothing to do unless I had the receipt. I had transactions, you have CCTV. I even scanned my club card. I think Tesco should improve their customer service. This is definitely not the values I thought the company had. How is it that if someone steal from you you check everything but if you steal from people you don’t? Please, improve. This is a company that people trust and this is definitely low from a company like you. Regards

Good store for the food selection, children serving not understanding what their spirits is for. Trying to abuse others that are healing injuries!

Friendly and welcoming. Beer was nice! Didn't have any food but what was brought out to other guests looked nice.

Friendly welcoming staff. An enjoyable family Christmas dinner in a good venue. The hard working team coped manfully with a large family gathering. A good bar but unfortunately the coffee machine went out of service at the wrong time!
