The best restaurants in Mancroft Norwich East of England

I go here regularly. It has never failed me: excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent people. We have lived near the city almost 4 years now and I don’t think I have ever gone longer than two months without visiting. I wanted to write this review to thank this small cafe. Thank you for providing me with all the food I can eat, will all the advice on how to cook the nut roast at Christmas and for looking and smelling nostalgia to me- I don’t know what it is, but walking into the place, especially autumn/Christmas time just makes me feel at home. Thank you Tofurei, I will deeply miss you. Oh and thank you for introducing me to spiced chai syrup in my oat iced latte- I will NEVER go back to regular lattes again. Like Christmas in a summer drink! (Ps- picture was from a while ago, only one I could find but perfectly encapsulates the beauty of this place)

20.01.24 I can't praise this place enough. Our first dining experience here. Outstanding. Fantastic food, wine, service and the attention to detail.. outstanding. The service, food and wine is just outstanding. Trying to work out now how we can get in for lunch too. Exceptional independent local restaurant. Highly recommended. What a lovely experience. You get 5 courses, all delicious! The food is definitely something we'll remember for a long time, great flavours, great textures. The dessert was awesome, just want to let it sit in your mouth forever! It is all done in a very unique setting, almost like having your own personalised dining experience. I didn't realise before coming that Sam is a one man band, he does everything! The cherry on the cake was the home made camomile digestif!

I was looking for somewhere to have a pot of tea and do a little work and stumbled on this little cafe. What a lovely place - felt really friendly, warm and cosy! The world needs more independent cafes like this!

Cosy little cafe where you can play a range of boardgames too. Drinks we ordered were good. Limited space so you may have to share tables.

We had the best Indian food in Norwich. Service was excellent as always, the food was delicious, quick to the table even though the restaurant was full. The lamb chops for starters had the chef's kiss, portions were generous. Will be visiting again real soon.

Great Evenings Bowling and Amazing Food.

Nice selection of games and friendly chatty staff to help you decide. We had a great time playing 5 or 6 different things Food was good and the coffee was nice. Update: this is now a firm family favourite, we all love the milkshakes and the games. Fun time and time again.
