Absolutely disgusting verbally abused called a f****** liar after calling trying to find out where our food was. Was over an hour after I called got accused of lying called a f****** lying b****when I told them our food hadn’t arrived. So no food verbally abused and so far no refund but waiting on Uber eats

Absolutamente horrible en una noche de fiesta, mi amiga estaba atendiendo una llamada en un área privada con el personal de la puerta, se le permitió entrar después de 20 minutos de discusión con el personal de la puerta para que se le deje volver a entrar, finalmente se metió después de preguntar por el gerente varias veces y todavía no ver al gerente. La acompañaron a la mesa para asegurarse de que estaba con alguien. Absolutamente horrible. El personal de la puerta debe conocer las caras cuando salen o entran.

El personal no es genial, a la llegada dijo hola y eso fue todo, no ‘cómo puedo ayudar’, etc. nada. Restaurante lleno, así que dijeron que podíamos comer en el bar, no hay problema. Bueno, no hasta que encontramos una mesa vacía, no limpia, mesas por todas partes cargadas de restos de comensales pasados, platos, vasos, menús. Muy pobre. Bajando de ahí. Obviamente un comedor familiar (uso esa palabra perdedoramente) , aunque sus engendros no estaban cenando sino corriendo revueltas por todas partes, gritando, gritando, era como una guardería, los padres no hacían nada para mantener el control. Horrible experiencia, no esperé a pedir, me fui ya que el ruido era increíble. No esperaba una cena de 5 estrellas, pero esperaba cierto grado de decoro de la clientela, y algún tipo de establecimiento de estándares del personal. ¿Tal vez eran tan jóvenes que no les pareció apropiado pedir a los comensales que controlaran a su descendencia?

Good meal,friendly service not bad price for that food. My children really look forward to get in there desserts. Highly recommend for families.

I can't remember a time when we didn't have regular takeaways from Chinatown and guessed it was probably about time to do a review! It's always been our go-to and for good reason. I've lived all around the country and I've never found food as good as this from a chinese takeaway. None of neon-glow sauce you get from lesser places, just proper well cooked fresh food. The food quality is excellent. I perhaps wouldn't overly recommend the restaurant (atmosphere not amazing...), the takeaway side is where the business is. Having said that I'd love to see them do something like a buffet on a Sunday, I think that would work really well (in the style of Thai Gardens in Rothwell). I've had many favourite dishes over the years but highlights are Stir fried beef cantonese style, satay chicken, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style and chicken curry. Please never retire!

Been coming to the Railway for years, this cafe seems to have let the experience down. Not much choice of food or drinks, cakes were tasteless, staff not very friendly or welcoming, not a nice atmosphere at all. Such a shame as the rest of the Railway people and place are so friendly and lovely atmosphere.

Atención al cliente absolutamente impactante. La comida llegó 2 horas tarde y piedra fría. La “dama” más grosera del teléfono. Ninguna oferta de compensación o reembolso solo insultos. ¡Sorprendente!

Ordered food took way longer than expected time so called them up who said it’s on the way, another half an hour goes by and no food, my brother calls again and they said it’s on the way and then hung up. I then called back and asked for a refund and to cancel the order and they hung up; I then called again and stated I would report them. After more shouting and abuse they reluctantly agreed to refund the money and hung up again. Ordered again a few weeks later and the food have half my family threw up, I think it was deliberate so will never order again and no one else should.

I visited your store on 8th Jan at 22:22 where I ordered a hot chocolate and an apple pie. The apple pie has been sat for a while as it was barely hot and the lady called Madalena said I would get a fresh one in 5 minutes. She delivered the new and extremely hot (too hot to eat) apple pie to me. I took one bite and found the middle was hard in the apple chunks. I explained this to Madalena who huffed then said she cooked it to the right time of 5 minutes. I understood this and gave my card for a refund. She looked at me like she didn't care about the food not being cooked properly. I explained how I was given food poisoning at the College Arms on 24th December and really didn't want to be sick again. She took the apple pie away and came back with a unhappy look saying I can't give you money back as you eat the pie. I said how will I know if it's uncooked it I don't taste it. I took one bite. She said I am not allowed to give you money back as my manager said you are it. I said ok I'll make a complaint. She said I give you money back but you ate pie. I said I ate a bite to find it not cooked. She was continuing to argue to me. I then spoke to Cristovio the shift manager and asked him why she was so rude or me. He said she told him I hate the pie and now wanted a refund but then threw the pie away. I explained what happened as above and asked what will happen as I found she needed more training on being customer focused as she was changing her views on the refund and arguing about me tasting the pie to find it not cooked yet she feels 5 minutes as directions to cook a pie was cooked. I explained that years ago when I worked in that store, a customer burnt their tongue and the company made staff write dates and time did cooked apple pies. I then asked where the time was for the pie as I saw no time. As the pies need time to cook yet to still cook on the inside to make them fully cooked throughout as fried items still cook on the inside after you take them out of the oil. He didn't know this fact. I said I feel the pie was not left long enough to start to cool and left to cook fully on the inside. I explained how extremely hot the pie was and it should not have been given to a customer as one bite would have left someone with no skin in their mouth or tongue. The shift manager was understanding yet I found him immature to be a manager to understand simple standards of store management and staff supervising. He tried to do a refund but instead charged me twice and then apologised. He then refunded me 2 apple pies. I just found this experience especially dissatisfied and unprofessional, unsafe for the heat of the apple pie, the mistake of a refund, the member of staff Madalena being grumpy, rude and unhelpful blaming me for the pie being not satisfactory and the shift manager being unable to deal with the situation at the time. I did ask the shift manager if we can deal with this complaint now however he wanted me to email and do the online review which I am happy to do. I will also do a Google review with this exact email comment as a copy and paste. I would like to please know how you wish to correct this vast number of issues from health safety of over heated foods to burn customers to the under cooked apple fruit inside to the unprofessional conduct of your staff towards a customer

Neva gonna do shopping their, they got so large stall and they charge 100 pound if its more than a 10 minutes of the time limits. Really disappointing. Seems like side business.

My wife and I visit here quite often and for a garden centre eatery it is no more than average. The staff are pleasant but still lack any sense of urgency or capacity react when bottlenecks start building up although there is an older lady behind the salad bar/pizza area who is excellent. The food is quite good, filled rolls are expensive but the bread is good and the fillings generous. The salad bar is good value and if you arrive before 1.30 has a good choice of items. The cooked food offers pizza cooked to order or several hot choises like pork loin, fish and chips, ribs, casserole etc. These are reasonable value especially the pensioners deal. The food that we have had has been well presented and reasonably tasty.
