The best restaurants in Rochford East of England

Not been here before but did my birthday here with family, roast on a sunday. The staff and manager were so accommodating and lovely with the kids. Food was great and well priced. Really felt like they went above and beyond for us and attentive throughout. Pub atmosphere is exactly my kind of pub. Good mix of people and friendly aura. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Fantastic that pubs like this still exist.

We pop in here every month for Breakfast/Brunch. Their food is fantastic and the sandwiches are the best we have ever had. The Staff are happy and welcoming and it's just a wonderful place to while the time away.

Onion bhagi not cooked, still raw batter in the middle. King prawn butterfly had raw batter around the prawn these are both items that are brought in already prepared and only have to be cooked. Three different main dishes ordered, tasteless and all the same colours as the sides. Very disappointed but a lesson learnt. I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Its such a shame that they lack the same attention on there takeaways. Never again.

Not sure what is better - the food or the service as both go way beyond expectations. We were a party of 14 and nothing was too much trouble for the waiters who were so welcoming and friendly throughout and not over bearing but attentive when you needed their attention. Between us, we had pizzas, pastas, steak, fish and chicken and all were tasty and fresh. Peroni on draught went down well.

Went last night for a family meal, for the anniversary of my dads death. Food and service excellent

Great little restaurant with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Also have had a takeaway from here and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, who go out of there way to please

Nice oldy worldy pub, nice bar staff, only downside was the ladies toilet's could do with an upgrade as tatty and had broken seats, and passing the men's loo's the door was wide open and smelt strongly of urine.

I have just moved to the area and thought I'd check out the local curry place. Very prompt service. I ordered Chicken bhuna, peschwari nan and pilau rice! It was all so tasty!! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Amazing fish and chips. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Busy on Friday evenings, which tells you how good it is. Often queuing out the door.

The Monsoon restaurant (Rochford) is consistently the best Indian in Essex for me and my extended family. Not only is the food outstanding the cost too is minimal in my humble opinion. 5*
