The best restaurants in Leigh Southend-on-Sea East of England

Brought mum here for a 90th birthday lunch as she adores seafood. Fabulous place, a warm friendly welcome, the most delicious seafood, wonderful friendly service, beautiful sea view. We sat at wooden benches in the gazebo and despite being December we were toasty warm under the heaters. Thank you for making mums birthday really memorable, we loved our lunch with you. Highly recommended!

Fantastic overall, great team and very friendly. I tried a lot of new things tonight that I would have never picked from a standard menu. Did I love everything? No, however, I appreciated the opportunity to try something new to my palette and I was very pleasantly surprised in each course. Of which, each course was cooked to perfection and looked incredible. Lots of attention to detail. If you’re reading this and are a bit anxious about the menu, don’t be, I was. I can only describe the experience akin to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory but as a fine dining culinary experience. 5* all around. Well done.

Love it here, food is good, and smoothies are lovely. Friendly staff. Been coming to squeeze since 2019. The only thing that I am not sure why they add service charge on top of the bill when usually they need just to bring food to the table.

This is my favourite food and drink spot in Leigh on sea ( and there are a lot to choose from) Staff are great, friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely with chill out music playing discreetly. The food is great, homemade and good portions. I wish it opened on Sundays!

Chilled atmosphere , attentive staff, lamb shank was very good , so was the Seafood Bouillabaisse. Popular are the fluffy pizzas.

Went here with 2 friends for a festive treat, easy to book via Facebook, all ready when we arrived. Lovely decorations and a very friendly welcome and service. Food was plentiful, home made and delicious. Only criticism would be it was a little cold- wear a big jumper, we had to finish in our coats!

This is easily the best coffee in Leigh on sea! It’s a shame that only bad reviewers add comments. The staff are all lovely. It’s brilliant to have independent shops in Leigh and we should make the most of it. I find the owner perfectly fun and friendly along with the rest of the staff. They know their coffee and have a good range of fresh homemade salads. ☕️ ❤️

Well this place closed up last year 2021, so there is no food, no drinks, No menu, no phone, its been sold off and long gone, so better to go somewhere else as you can't go here

We regularly visit Natural Bite for lunch and we’ve never been disappointed. The food is top notch with great variety and the staff are super friendly. The owners even remember our order :-) We highly recommend.

I treated my daughters and their friend to ice cream and cookies, and they loved it. The ice cream was amazing- especially the mint aero, chosen by 2 of the girls. The guy serving us was friendly and chatty, and very patient while my daughter nipped to the loo mid order. He also made sure the table was clean before we sat down. Great experience.

I was booked on a bakery course to make Macarons on 17th March 2024. The class was cancelled a couple of days before by the owner. I have repeatedly phoned and emailed requesting a refund but have not had a money back and no apology. Would never use again.
