The Greengage has improved so much in the last year, much better food and a much better service, Clare was friendly and attentive today!

Amazing variety and very friendly staff, only down side was some off the food wasn't that hot and not much of a dessert selection

Best Chinese I’ve managed to find in the area since moving, collected and it was all freshly cooked and piping hot! Great to see tofu on the menu, partner loved the meat dishes too. Finally found my go to on Bury!

The hotel and the grounds are lovely. The restaurant however is abysmal. we ordered two scones and a cheese and pickle sandwich. This took over 35 minutes and when the sandwich arrived it looked like it had been made by monkeys. Imagine 99% pickle oozing out the side of two slices of thin cheap bread. Couldn't see any cheese whatsoever. I honestly don't think this was prepared by a chef. The staff were clearly flustered, we could hear other tables complaining and I suspect someone just cobbled it together. Embarrassing.

Service bad. give wrong sandwich. refuse to fix. blames me. Gave me food poisoning.

A day out in the area and thought we'd have lunch in a nice rural setting. Welcome very friendly, order quickly taken, and food quick to arrive. All very impressive. Best pub lunch in the year we have been back in England. A great experience, thank you all.

A great traditional pub near Newmarket. Real ales and fantastic pub snacks. Watch out for their offers Monday and Tuesday Pizza and a pint for wine for 10 pounds and the pizzas are absolutey delicious! We need to support our local pubs and tradition.

Why bother being open if you have nothing ready for sale no hot food ready at all they are now putting it in 20 minute wait why wasn't this noticed they were running low earlier and put things in then whole counter empty very poor

Really, really good Italian restaurant! When I walked in I felt an amazing, sicilian atmospher! I ate the best canneloni in my life and drunk really good sicilian cloudy lemonade. This place is so cozy and all of the stuff were ever so kind and profesional!

Unfortunately all the hand pumped ales, except the IPA, were not available, and I'm afraid the IPA was 'tangy'. But a good basic, atmospheric and lively locals pub.

The worst pizza ever. I believe that I am suffering from food poisoning. Dough was undercooked and cheese was very oily. It immediately made my stomach hurt and I couldn’t finish it. Please Pray for me because I'm not doing good. Do not order from here!
