The best restaurants in West Thurrock and South Stifford Thurrock East of England

Took a while for them to find my order but when it was found they was brilliant. They called me to ask if I wanted it hot or cold really appreciated that.

Staff and coffee was ok, but the hand dryer in the toilet was not working (the sign looked as it had been there for a while, this is very unhygienic to not have a working hand dryer and no paper towels either. The front door does not close properly, so making the cafe cold and uncomfortable... this was made worst by ignorant people not closing the door behind them...

We had an amazing family! We had a long time waiting for a bigger table as it was busy . Staff handled very well, and the service was fantastic! I'm a bit fussy on vegetables, l ate it all.

Service very slow, appetizers were good but nothing spacial that justified the price and entrees left a lot to be desired. Scallop risotto kinda flavor less. Petite filet mignon was good! Espresso martini was not good (20$) , blueberry smash drink was great 14 January 2025, was recommended to come here, no good enough for a second visit unfortunately, : / 250$ tab not worth the time or money in my opinion.

Pad Thai was fab especially with the Chicken Satay and the Guava Collins drink suggested by our server. Our server was Mario. He definitely made our experience very pleasant and relaxed. I look forward to returning!

I love eating here. It's the nicest restaurant in Thurrock. I miss it. I hear that it's been refloated so am keenly awaiting news of it's future. There are many people hoping they'll be able to go to this restaurant again.

We had a really good experience at tgi Fridays restaurant today! Food was hot and delicious and drinks topped up on time! Our waitress Victoria was super nice and attentive to our daughter! Thank you for looking after us!

Great food at a great price and impecabile served by Maria. Prompt service and great atmosphere. Not sure about the robot tho…I hope it’s useful for waiters cause it looks a bit creepy for me..

I came to your wasabi today at about 1pm, I was bending over looking over the bottom shelf of the foods and the female colleague don’t know her name walk straight in front of me with no apology, I picked up what I wanted and went to the till, the staff member who cut in front of me, made me wait at the till until she finished what she was doing. I thought it was really rude of her.

Stay away £48 for 2 slices of paper and a bun . No flavour cokes and still had the cheek to charge a service charge Haha 1st and last time coming here !!

I went to the m&s cafe in lakeside and felt like I was in a builders cafe as no saucer with your cup and given a stick to stir my tea, no communication as you just do your own ordering and then just sit down. I won’t be going there again as I really thought m&s were better than this very disappointed.

After many years of going to lakeside we decided to stop and have a coffee here. We was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the prices were and we was allowed to sit and chat for as long as we liked. Friendly staff and nice bright place to rest inbetween shops! Will be our new spot!
