The best restaurants in Takeley and the Canfields Uttlesford East of England

Unfortunately the coffee was not good here at all. Had Nero many times and usually fine but not today. Flat white and americano were not good and service was very poor

Cafe at London Stansted Airport. Friendly service. They have options to eat there or take away. Menu of coffees, teas and juices/smoothies. Sweets, sandwiches and porridge options. High prices but similar to the rest of the airport locations.

Clean & tidy friendly environment. Served by Lenka who was approachable, friendly and smiling. She worked hard serving guests in an efficient manner.

Very disappointing. This used to be a great pub with great food, but it certainly was quite a letdown. We asked for steaks medium but they came out cremated. When we mentioned it we were lectured by a very officious lady - think it was the proprietor although can't be absolutely certain - about how steaks are cooked and that what we got what we ordered. Basically, it was our fault. We actually weren't that bothered until we got the attitude. So as long as you don't mind being told off and unquestioningly accept the food you're given you'll have a wonderful evening. It's not for us, though!

Since 18 years for me was kind of tradition to get white filter coffee, sandwich or salad and croissant or danish cinnamon. What happened now? You changed prices for the highest in this planet for sandwiches, you changed prices for salads (£8.49!!!) and changed size of course for smaller. Me and a lot of customers still tried to stay with Pret. Now you removed filter coffee from offering (only at the airport) and let me guess why....you think you will get more income selling more expensive one. That's enough. There are other options in terminal for good quality food and coffee. All your story about quality, organic, freshly made is now just rubbish. You just lost loyal customer, and I think more, not just me. Good bye Pret.

The baked fries were like cold soggy rubber, awful. My wives wrap was the worst shes ever had. I have no idea how such a lack of care becomes the norm at Leon, this is our second bad experience in a row, which is a shame as we found it far better a few years ago.

Es war grausam. Es wurde drinnen geraucht. Die Kellnerinen kammen einem gar nicht entgegen. Es riechte sehr streng und nach feuchtigkeit. Die Herren toilete war voll gepisselt. Frauen toilete war okay. Es gab nur Pizza mit Käse zu essen. Personal war nicht freundlich. Grausam! Glass war nicht sauber!!

LEON was super busy, but it was easy to order from the electronic kiosk, my food took 3 minutes to come, and the guy at the counter stopped to wish me an enjoyable meal. And.... I got the new"Hot Honey GFC gluten-free chicken nuggets". At £7.99 out was an ok price, and... it was fresh, hot, spicy(!) and delicious. A great meal and overall experience. Probably my third meal at LEON, and a dining must for me in UK airports. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately what I assumed to be a manager of the place came out from the back talking really rudely to the servers in front of all the customers, put a real damper on the atmosphere! Great to see how the servers stayed professional and untouched by the gross acting manager! Beautiful ❤️

You know you will be ripped off in a UK airport, but this was off the scale. £11.40 for a small black coffee and "Joe's Club Sandwich". The "sandwich" price, at £8.00, needed to be something special. It was pathetic. Younger people seem to favour the special juices - but stay away from the food, tremendous rip off and the most incredible over charging under delivering I've seen for many years in the UK. Under their sign in London Stansted it says "Coffee, Juice and Much More". Seeing as I had to picnic on a hard wood stool, drink from a disposable waxed take-away cup and try to eat the tiny "sandwich" half warmed in a toasting machine wrapped in greasy paper with a paper napkin, I think it's the most expensive underrated picnic I've ever had. There are proper restaurants in the airport that serve real food, on real plates and even have cutlery. If you want food, this is "Coffee, Juice and Much LESS for MUCH MORE".

Place was empty I was new to area went in ordered 2 fish and chips They had screens up (covid screens) so went to pay with card rude lady just said “ain’t you got cash” Chips were under cooked and still hard but fish ok Won’t go back again
