The best restaurants in Waveney East of England

We had the best chocolate cake ever! And it came with story, as the rest of our meal. Friendly owner and quite an experience having the whole place to ourselves including listening to our own playlist.

My first time in this new deli, the service was brilliant, the owner was friendly, quick and extremely welcoming. I was made a delicious chicken sandwich!!! :)

A small family business that would be easy to dismiss if walking past however we read previous review and it didn’t disappoint . The food was excelent, at a reasonable price. There were 4 of us and we all had something different and all excelent, all at aresoanblenorixe including 2 rounds of drinks. All prepped by one chef and a single waitress who was attentive and engaging. The drinks interestingly weren’t Adnams despite being next to the shop. Bur nevertheless very good Highly recomended.

Really good food, freshly cooked and a lovely host/service. Couldn’t ask for anything better. They were so accommodating to myself and my group. Will definitely be coming again soon xx

Stopped in for a drink and breakfast/brunch. The cafe was a little busy so we went to the the other building they had a door down which was decorated lovely inside - nice big olive? tree? Order on the app and they bring the drinks and food across from the other building. Terry’s Orange Hot Chocolate was very good and tasty. Had a toasted sandwich - again very tasty. The menu is small but different offerings which were nice.

We have just had the most amazing time at the restaurant. The food is amazing, tasty and so well presented. Staff are in training but all were very attentive and polite. It was also nice to have a glass of wine with our meal. I'm sure the students will all do well in the hospitality business if they carry on like they are. Well done all . The tutors are doing a wonderful job 😄

Had a superb Sunday lunch today with friends. High quality, excellent value and faultless service. Would not hesitate to recommend and will look forward to returning again soon.

The best butcher I've been to?quite possibly. Everything is just quality. I love their mighty pork chops sometimes with a bit of kidney. All their bbq fare is spot on, and their seasonal faggots are incredible. The cheese counter is amazing too if you fancy some up market cheese with bread and wine on your hols. Local honey sold too. So more than a butcher! Family are lovely serving and and it's now sons and daughters on the sign 👍

Absolutely brilliant, a real hidden gem. The food and service was excellent. It was so good, we even brought a takeaway.

Lovely venue and lovely food served with a smile! I went for brunch with a friend and was served by the lovely owner Danielle with a smile as soon as I entered we ate off the breakfast menu and thoroughly enjoyed our food and experience from start to finish. Definitely worth a visit and look forward to coming again for an evening meal.

Cracking Food, Excellent Service atmosphere was amazing, What a great afternoon for our Christmas Lunch. All us old boy's from Norfolk had a brilliant afternoon. Well done to you all at the Ringsfield Tavern.

Really good pizzas and service albeit lacking atmosphere for a Friday night. Not scoring down on this fact it could be a one off. Will try again.

Delicious food, good ambience and entertaining lunch with Desmondo’s and a one of our group reciting poetry from Christopher Matthew and one friend reciting Stanley Holloway with Albert and the Lion. Booked again for another entertaining lunch next month!!!!!

I visited here on a quiet Sunday morning and was delighted by the quality of the breakfast. Nestled as it is amongst a parade of arts & crafts and antiques shops, this cafe is very conveniently located not too far off the beaten track and there is plenty of parking. We sat out front in a cosy little covered verandah, which is perfect on a sunny day. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is very relaxed and informal. We all opted for the medium breakfast (2 bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage), feeling that the large breakfast (2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausages) was perhaps too much. The 'extra-large' breakfast (3 bacon, 3 eggs, 3 sausages) even more so. Still, it was nice to have the choice. The breakfast itself was pretty quick to arrive and comes with toast and butter. The only negative is that the egg was poached. That would not have been my preference, and I wasn't given the choice, but that is a minor niggle. Overall, a delightful little place serving a decent breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. What's not to like?
