We called in to The Little Fish and Chip shop for our supper after spending a lovely afternoon in Southwold, we have been here many times, once again we had delicious fish n chips and my favourite fish cake, excellent quick service. Thank you for remembering us from the summer!!

The best fish and chip I've had in years. The batter was light and crispy the fish was cooked to perfection and the chips was tasty without a bitter after taste. I would recommend the chippy and give a score 💯 You have to try it for yourself and thank me later.

I've been coming here through three changes of ownership. Never been disappointed. I guess previous owners give lessons when they move on. Service is quick and always with a smile. Generally a once a month visit.

Wonderful experience at Mark G. Recommended by a friend, which is always a good sign. Visited in the middle of Storm Bert, and this was a very welcome port in a big storm Cocktails to start were excellent, and service was very attentive without being intrusive Would highly recommend the popcorn cockles, which were excellent. Main course was the fish pie and the cod, which were both very good. Sticky ginger pudding is a lovely twist on an old favourite In turn, would highly recommend if you get the chance to visit. It was buzzing, but luckily, the restaurant squeezed us in, and service was pleasant. The cod was delicious and fkaky with excellent batter, chips tasty and crisp, and mushy peas good...regular was perfect size portion, leaving room for pudfing...apple pie and chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. All washed down with a pot of tea. What more could you ask for? We would be very happy to return.

The Pips fish and chips in Queens road are disgusting the chips are not cut and cooked to perfection and they get cold quick and the fish is watery boney and don't taste like fish not a fluffy fish it's slimy and watery not a good place to get food Avoid at all costs

Just relocated to Lowestoft - food was amazing and had a lovely chat with the delivery lady :) A+ (and never EVER stop doing the won tons - they were incredible!)

Eagerly awaited my Friday chip shop treat. This week I was indulging my Friday treat in Kirklee Run. The chippy had a huge fatheringmof customers which is always a great indication of things to come. Advertised in the window was their meal deals and for £3.85 I had chips, 2x sausage and curry sauce. Piping hot and tasty was my overriding thoughts. They accept card as well which is always a winner...

Best fish and chips we have had in many years. Visited Pakefield from The Midlands and again had to have fish and chips and curry sauce. Never dissapointed 5 star

This is a regular destination for us. Once a month we collect about 15 meals for the workforce. The fish is good quality, the chips are a good potato variety and all cooked to perfection. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Wow, What a fish & chip shop as simply awesome, Very friendly owner as very nice staff, Great prices & as for the fish & chips , 10 out of 10, I am some would say a fussy eater, Everything is spot on here & the curry sauce is just fab too, The is by far the best fish & chip shop i have been too thus far......

Clever place - go for fish and chips and leave it there. ordered 2 cod and chips - wasn't cod. but probably few places are. we thought excellent. mushy peas - great size portion of them. the sea food platters we saw - ting crab [legal?] - crayfish tails - Booker or Costco - miniscule lobsters - not ones swimming in the tank. not freshly caught as too small - where huge profit made. specials - unsaleable sole as so small - just avoid and have whitefish and chips. Staff lovely and place nice. trick on wine - 10% alcohol for many to lower duty - at £25 for housewine - works out at about £32 if normal strength. mr owner knows what he is doing - good luck to him but stick to whitefish and chips and this place will make you happy.

We were recommend Mark’s as the place where locals go while tourists go elsewhere within Southwold. Two cod and chips - decent portion sizes and the fish was good. Chips were really nice, just not as hot as we’d have liked which is the reason it gets 4 rather than a 5. We sat in to eat which was nice to have that option unlike a lot of places that are takeaway only.
