The best restaurants in St James's City of London, Westminster London

1st time going here. No forks are given,so you need to be able to eat with chopsticks,which I can so that was not a problem. Had the chicken teriyaki.The rice didn't turn up and had to tell them and they brang it. Some of the chicken had fat on it,but other than that the miso and rice was good. The down side is that they only 4 tables for sitting in.

Food was tasteless and inedible! Not sure if we were unlucky but wouldn’t go here again to eat. Service was slow and the waitress was rude. The pub itself is nice inside and has a nice atmosphere.

Afternoon Tea - Avoid Avoid Avoid The worst afternoon tea in London. One hard sandwich cut in four slithers to share. Micro filling. Sweet cakes were hard and cheap filter coffee. Was not the only table complaining.

Loved the easiness in order and the packaging as well as the taste

I visited today the Royal Academy of Arts for an exhibition, my stomach was rumbling and just in front I saw Pret...I went for a coffee (flat white) and a sandwich (The VLT).My flat white was at the temperature I like (warm) and the sandwich was made I think 10/15 Min before my visit...simply amazing

Great service by the two ladies who served me; especially Klaudia who helped process discount on food using her card as the app on my phone wasn’t processing my voucher!

It’s a great place to stop by in the busy morning and start your day on a good note. However, there are no seats available.

We enjoyed a really good meal with a very reasonable price and good quality. We ordered the chicken tandoori and lamb madras and both were very tasty.

They’re very rude there, didn’t even order because after asking for something she said no she couldn’t do it and the lady simply said okay bye.

Lo principal que tiene este restaurante es su ubicación y la decoración interior, que es agradable. Desafortunadamente, eso no fue igualado por el resto de la experiencia gastronómica. El restaurante estaba casi vacío cuando llegamos, así que me decepcionó la larga espera para nuestra comida. Pedí la lubina salvaje con puré. La lubina estaba llena de sabor, pero definitivamente era un poco pequeña por el precio. Sin embargo, el puré era demasiado desigual para mi gusto. También me decepcionaron los diversos cargos adicionales que, según se supo, no fueron transferidos al personal. En general no es el estándar que esperaba para un restaurante que es caro.

Martina is always a pleasure - we often have large coffee orders and she is so efficient and does an excellent job of running the team!

Dreadful place, I came in, it's a self-service type of place, you have to find a menu yourself when queue to the bar to place an order. I asked for a glass of wine that was £8 on the menu and they tried to charge me £11.90 for it. I asked why and none seemed to be able to explain, neither did they apologies. The staff behind the counter was pretty rude so I left.
