so some really good stuff, but some not so goo.d croissant with salami and cheese was lovely. coffee was very very good. but, and here is the but - I did not want a takeaway cup and had to really push the point. it does make a difference. and hey - it was a bit cold

El mejor lugar para almorzar en Clerkenwell (IMO) . Comer o llevar, gran elección, grandes tamaños de porción, gran relación calidad-precio y gran servicio. ¿Qué es lo que no te gusta! Todo lo que he probado es increíble, hacen la comida rápida, y les importa, es ordenado, ordenado y limpio. Brillante negocio familiar.

Primero déjame decir que la comida era de 5 estrellas. Yo elegiría dar 4. 5 sobre todo, pero obligado a elegir tuve que ir 4 porque algunos elementos de servicio no eran del todo perfectos. Kisetsu es la mesa del chef en Shosharu, que ofrece una fantástica experiencia gastronómica íntima con ingredientes de temporada y principalmente pescado. El menú de degustación de 15 platos siempre fue interesante, sabrosa y visualmente inspirador para combinar. Nuestro grupo tenía vino y emparejamientos de Sake. Los vinos en general eran muy impresionantes, particularmente un pinot noir francés y vino de postre raro. El sommelier ciertamente sabía lo que hacía, aunque en varias ocasiones le había explicado el emparejamiento al grupo sin que nos diéramos cuenta (tal vez no corregir la etiqueta para ser demasiado asertivo para ser justo, a pesar de que fue hablado suavemente). I hadn’t visited La R. for a while but yesterday I popped in for lunch and it was as excellent as ever. The round table on the first floor (Table 37) is a favourite - as is the Spaghetti Bolognese.

Taste sensation! Just my sort of food! We visited for the Saturday brunch which was a rollercoaster of exciting small dishes. Can’t wait to come back and try every dish on the menu.

What an excellent find. The best coffee ever, plus lovely toasties. Small artisan coffee shop, a few tables outside, great for watching the world going by!

Looking for a quick lunch I popped in and was very pleasantly surprised. Good, honest food with no pretensions. I had a jacket potato with an excellent sausage, beans , cheese and butter. Served by Peter the owner, a very jovial and sociable guy. Definitely worth a visit

…with lots of craft beer options and even Mikkeller merchandise to buy. Cool decor and staff, good atmosphere when we went in too.

The chicken schnitzel sandwich was, without doubt, one of the all time top ten sandwich experiences anywhere. The couple that run this wonderful little place could not be nicer and if you have room (which you won’t) they sell delicious cannoli to go with your post sandwich Macchiato. Worth making a trip out if your way to visit and incredible value.
