The best restaurants in Brompton Kensington and Chelsea London

For many years I used Greenfields where I received consistently outstanding courteous, friendly, and swift service. Now where are they? Food quality was always the highest and prices reasonable but creeping up forced upon them by rapacious landlord happy to cede their territory to the growing French / Belgian community. Much like a lot of cafes in the area it's filled with saudi's and khaleeji arabs. Too much fuss, not enough attention to detail. Save your money.

As a big fendi lover I felt I had to go to the fendi cafe located inside harrods. As it goes the que was not worth the wait. After around 40 minutes we got seated on the balcony of the cafe which was not decorated in fendi wall paper etc like pictured it was just a fendi print table and felt somewhat detached from the rest of the cafe. The tea and cakes where lovely but i think it’s more somewhere you’d pop into in the middle of shopping for a drink and chat but after the 40 minutes waiting to get in it sort of takes away from it!

Verbanella has been in Beauchamp Place ever since I can remember...and it holds its own against the more celebrated Italian restaurants within the vicinity...good food, well presented and pleasant service...go for a girlie lunch...

We arrived late, it is not well indicated on Google, but they served us without problems, simple but good food

I took my family here for lunch today (March 2024) and can’t believe the disgusting treatment we received from staff here. We bought lunch and all had food from the cafe except my 9 year old autistic son who has to have his own specially prepared food. The staff member (a middle aged woman with dark hair) came over to our table and asked us to leave because my son was eating a sandwich he had not purchased in the cafe. Considering we had spent £40 already on food and another £30 in the gift shop that day I was horrified we wet being asked to leave by this woman because my autistic son needed to eat. I’ve travelled with my family all over the world and never ever had an issue like this so didn’t expect it here. What a disgrace your staff are. We left the food we’d paid for and got up, walked out and will never return.

Excellent dim sum at great prices. I haven’t had better in London. The waitresses are charmless but they bring the food efficiently. Update 2024. The dim sum are just as delicious but the staff are new and very pleasant and helpful. Update. The dim sum is no longer available. What remains is overpriced and mediocre.

I visited the pub today and had a steak pie and it was delicious and the staff were very Nice and caring and the beers were cold

The food was horrendous. The chow main tasted like tesco noodles chucked on a pan, not even hot, partially undercooked.

As long as you have an eternity to send here you should be golden. The service is there, but cannot really see it, food is a lot faster than expected considering it took 30mins to order and only 20mins to get the food. And if you forget to order something you might as well make peace with the fact you won’t get it. Staff is nice, but for some reason four floor staff and two in the kitchen Chen struggled to serve five tables with 20 people in total and quite a few people waiting to be seated had to leave.
