The best restaurants in Lambeth London

I love this place. I usually go there for a cappuccino but we've gone today with my family and we've loved the wraps and sandwiches. They even have books for kids. They're super friendly, excellent service and excellent food. I highly recommend you to go there!

Great coffee and perfectly made. Quick service and a nice dry and warm spot on the cold winter days if you have a few minutes before or after your train. Not clear on Google maps, but it’s INSIDE the ticket hall. Went a couple of days in a row and had good quick service and consistently good coffee!

Lovely local cafe where the staff are really attentive and remember you. Delicious coffee, made the proper way - a cappuccino is indeed a cappuccino, not a latte with some art on the top. Food is delicious, Nduja on Focaccia is just incredible!

I had high hopes for this Japanese restaurant but left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Danbury Bowl (£15), which was described as a special mix of pork, kimchi, and squid. Unfortunately, the dish was poorly executed: • The kimchi dominated the bowl but wasn’t spicy as expected – just overly vinegary. • The squid was rubbery and lacked any flavor. • There was barely any pork – just a few tiny pieces, which felt like an afterthought. • The plain rice was unseasoned, and mixing everything together didn’t improve the dish. To their credit, the gyoza and miso soup were good, but they couldn’t save the overall experience. Service was also subpar. The waiter struggled to communicate as they didn’t speak good English, making it hard to ask questions or make requests. Additionally, the staff was inattentive – I had to repeatedly flag someone down to take our order, clear the table, and bring the bill. To top it all off, I woke up the next day with a stomach ache and what I suspect was food poisoning.

Most affordable breakfast option in the area, it will become my new canteen! Big filling portions. Delicious smoothies. Very fast service. Good atmosphere, its cozy, and people around are friendly. Best find near Kennington!

Tbh I wish I could give 0. Had an awful experience with 2 friends at a bottomless brunch just before Christmas. One of which was pregnant and served an alcoholic drink. Sent an email with all of our feedback to which it was forwarded on and after 2/3 times of chasing… ghosted! Appalling! So shocked given Shoreditch branch were amazing and couldn’t do anymore for a previous booking earlier in the year.
