The best restaurants in Lambeth London

Horrible experience. I will never go back there again, sad that such trash can be served to decent people. Th3 service was bad. The food was good go if you like being ignored by the waiting staff and love eating nice Caribbean food with some nice mixed drinks if the staff notice you would like a drink good luck if you go you kinds have to Holla all the timento get service even when the place is empty.

Terrible terrible service, really poor food, and we had to wait an hour in between first and main courses (they graciously told us we could stay beyond the time we had putatively booked for). But although that happened twice, it was two to three years ago and not long after the lockdowns ended. I'm inclined to fork out and see if it is as good as it used to be.

We had our office Xmas lunch here (30 people) it was amazing and the sharing menu is perfect for a large group! Fab service too, especially Bas & Flora!

Excellent restaurant, food is good and nice place to be, but don’t forget, the owner lets the waiters haggle, so you can get a few pounds knocked off if you ask!

Just In Bean at the Christmas market is a must-visit for the best hot chocolate in London! Their festive drinks like caramel kiss and Nutella shock are delicious. The bar designs are trendy, and the staff are helpful and stylish. I will definitely come back there next winter !

Only met here for our film group. Plus still feels as cold in atmosphere as when it first opened way back when. Drinks overpriced. £9.00 for a Gin. Seriously???!

We held our son's 21st birthday dinner in the copper room, and it was a beautiful event. Ysabelle and her team were phenomenal and provided an exceptional service for our party. The food was some of the best South Asian food I have tasted, with generous portions and beautifully flavoured.

Great location for a traditional English Afternoon tea. Overlooking the River Thames, Big Ben and Westminster Bridge. Tea was served in The Library of The Marriott Hotel. The food was nicely presented. Sandwiches were limp and slightly soggy and obviously hadn’t been freshly prepared for us. An assortment of Cakes, with something for everyone. Not sure though,why five cakes were served to share between two people. Staff were attentive and described the range of teas that were available, as well as the assortment of sandwiches and cakes being served. Unusual music selection for a quintessentially English Tea experience.

We booked the second room for a birthday (60 guests) and half the guests got food poisoning.

¡Qué noche tuvimos el viernes 13 de diciembre de 2024! La mejor cena de todos los tiempos con el anfitrión / restaurador más fabuloso Jamal! Estamos en una cruzada para probar toda la cocina del mundo en Londres, así que Argelia fue el tercer país en la lista y así es como aterrizamos en la premiada Khamsa en una fría noche gris oscuro para ser transportados a las delicias de Argelia! Nuestro anfitrión Jamal nos dio la bienvenida e inmediatamente nos sentimos como en casa. Él se burló de nosotros con sus sugerencias que nos enamoraron y nos permitió nuestro té de menta al principio de nuestra comida (se supone que lo tiene que tener al final de su comida! ). El plato de ensalada 7 y el pan casero era para morirse! No tuvimos tiempo para fotos ya que estábamos salivando todos los sabores diferentes que eran deliciosos y de buen gusto. El pastel de salmón filo era picante, las albóndigas deliciosas y el cordero suave y tierno. Entonces los postres estaban tan buenos que nos lamíamos los dedos. Lo mejor de todo fue la hospitalidad! ¡Jamal tiene un sentido del humor malvado y nos tenía en puntadas! Nos lo pasamos tan bien y para colmo Jamal tocó "ladies night by kool& the gang" cuando escuchó a una de nosotras cantándola y antes de darnos cuenta estábamos en la pista bailando y cantando! Tuvimos la mejor experiencia de cenar! Jamal, vamos a volver con todo el séquito y nuestra búsqueda para probar la cocina del mundo puede tomar un poco más de tiempo! La comida es muy recomendable y el restaurante es un testimonio de nuestro maravilloso anfitrión Jamal!
