The best restaurants in Lambeth London

We visited La Mere on a Wednesday evening and had a wonderful time. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the selective menu has all of the French classics you'd hope for. The food and wine menu are both great value for money.

We ordered a couple of cheese burgers and a single fries via Deliveroo Arrived on time and fairly warm The burgers were wrapped in foil to keep hot but the bun had congealed into the cheese which was suboptimal Nice fries

Dunno if it s an ice bar or a normal restaurant due to the FREAKING COLD inside. Waiters were not concerned… spending 2 hours eating in cold weather is one the worst thing ever. Waiters were nice btw. Food was ok but surprised to see bad beers in London. I can’t put more stars because I spent an awful moment trying to keeping me warm. Edit : I’m now sick.

Honestly horrible burgers; disgusting burger. It was grayish in color. The cheese was molded. Lastly, the wings, just look at the photo attached at those boiled, poorly presented wings. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

A good meal + friendly and professional service and a cosy atmosphere. Reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

A xmas disaster! We booked for Xmas lunch/dinner. Arrived at 2.15, received our starters at 3.15, they were good. Then, our mains, there were three of us, arrived at different times during the next hour and a half. One of these, children's Xmas turkey lunch was inedible. Organisation or direction amongst the staff was not apparent. The kitchen wasn't well manned. I witnessed several parties leave before their mains demanding a refund. It really was a complete shambles; the friendly waiting staff were embarrassed and probably as or nearly as, frustrated as the 'diners'. The atmosphere was one of slight anger and incredulity. We regret wasting our Xmas day at the Tulse Hill Hotel. I'm surprised there aren't many negative reviews on here concerning this disaster of a Xmas day. Noone was happy. By the end, when I finally got my turkey the place was empty and I'd loss the will, appetite and any Xmas cheer. Pretty appalling all round.

A typical English pub at times can be noisey and nowhere to sit. Friendly staff and has a relaxing atmosphere, but have never tried the food on offer. Drinks very reasonably priced.

I love the team at olives + meze! They helped me out when my just eat order wasn’t working and they made sure my order was fresh and hot when I arrived

Nice enough pub but drink prices pretty steep and decor/building needs some updating.

Diligent, careful, friendly staff on my day. I liked that they were keen to provide good service. Magnificent views of the River and the Palaces of Westminster and Lambeth. Magnificent. The food was splendid and nicely presented . I was thrilled the scrambled egg was scrambled English style and not the frequently offered smashed up cooked egg you get these days. Lovely coffee too. I wasn't struck on the wooden serving boards as difficult to properly clean. Invest in some rectangular plates. The door was a bit stiff so give a good push . No onsite toilet . Overall a really pleasant place to go and to eat.

Travelled there for 45 mins. It’s says online open till 12am on a Friday. Got there for 9pm ish only for them to tell us they are closed. Need to update closing times

Be aware that rice is separate from the meat, but big portions, huge flavours. First Caribbean spot that I enjoyed everything.

¡Un lugar increíble para ir! Deliciosas tapas con muy buenas porciones, y todo sabe increíblemente tradicional. La tortilla está perfectamente cocinada, las croquetas estaban increíbles, y sin mencionar la tarta de queso que me enamoró. Gran ambiente y diseño! El lugar está muy limpio y el personal es muy eficiente.

El lugar ha cerrado. No es a donde Google Maps nos envió. Todos los locales tapiados. Perdimos el tiempo caminando allí. Necesita ser retirado de aquí como recomendación.
