Monday night visit, walk in customers table for two, great food, good portions and good service, I had onion bhaji to start and a veggie Ceylon, mushroom rice and a garlic & cheese Nan, my friend had a prawn starter, chicken balti with coconut rice...

I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.

The food is really beautiful in here and the surroundings are just lovely. I especially love the art work by local artists on the walls. The waitresses are really nice and friendly . It's a shame it never seems busy.

On an upwards curve. Bigger menu than our last visit and although we only had bacon rolls they were spot on. Good choice of breakfasts and other meals.

Once again on a weekend visit to Hartlepool this restaurant ticks all the boxes boxes for a fine Sunday Lunch. No frills done very well and fabulous young and enthusiastic staff make it a pleasure to eat here.

We had not been here for about 3 years and called in just by chance today. We both had milkshakes; my husband had the regular banana and I had the ‘Million Dollar’ banoffee shake. They were both fantastic, very flavourful and made with fresh ingredients (I could see the bananas being peeled from where I was sitting). Our server was called Hollie and she couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely be returning, thank you.

Ordered my usual Chicken Korma , Onion rice. The Rice was horrible.Everyone knows the plastic taste of Bens Microwave Rice. Tasted like it to me. Nothing like the rice I'd enjoyed in the past from this establishment.

One or two decent places to eat. BUT the parking charges are ridiculous. They will kill the area off. You can already see the decline in the standards of the businesses down there. Shame because it could be a great selling point for hartlepool.

Pillows everywhere, bathroom was inna complete state, bathroom ceiling is broken, stains in the walls and bedframe. My bedside table has ashes on the side. Broken kettle. People giving this hotel a 4 star and 5 star. Absolutely shocking

Food was cold or wrong orders. The jacket potato was freezing and soup was like water. When phoning to explain didn't solve the problem.
