On holiday in the area and heard a lot about the potted lobster - wish we hadn’t!!! So over rated, and SO expensive!!! One bottle of wine we saw was £50 - the previous restaurant we had been to it was £36. Food was no more than very average - far better options and far better value to be had! Avoid

Cod and chips and haddock and chips, both outstanding! Been here many times and always been great, this trip was exceptional!

We landed here after a beach walk from Seahouses, hungry and fancying a wee pint. The service was so friendly and the food just delicious. I had fish n chips which was freshly battered, huge and delicious! Both meals knocked the last pub meal in Barnburgh out of the park and a few pounds cheaper per meal. The log burner and atmosphere were just perfect 🤩 Compliments to a chef who clearly cares about presentation and quality.

First time at lewis's. Attentive young ladies served us. Restaurant decorated nicely. Fish chips lovely. Hubby had scampi. Peas curry sauce very tasty. Big portions too. Would definately recommend a visit

Came in for a soft serve, we had vanilla and butterscotch was so delicious homemade soft serve I’ve ever had. Friendly service to!

This place is just nice. That's all it had to be, not flash or posh just really good and really nice. The craster kipper sandwich is recommended, actually it's flipping awesome.

Tried this place twice now First was a delivery and took driver over an hour to find us even though 10mins away Second time went in ordered and took away Chicken wrap, chips and garlic They put the chips and chicken and garlic sauce all in the wrap together So ended up with soggy chip wrap butty Hardly any chicken in the wrap Then the kebab was horrendous it went straight in the bin It’s the worst kebab and wrap ever If your visiting seahouses avoid this place at all costs If could rate a zero we would

What a lovely cafe. Dog welcome area and great gluten free choices. What made it even better was the lovely welcome from the staff. If you are visiting Bamburgh this is the place for you to go for breakfast lunch or tea.

Popped in to The Middle Inn hoping for a warm welcome and cosy Sunday roast on a cold rainy day. Unfortunately we didn’t really get either and what could have been a long, lazy fireside afternoon turned into a 45 minute stay all in as the food arrived within 5 minutes, clearly having been sitting there for some time and pretty insipid. Such a shame as at almost £20 a pop a basic roast should be do-able with a bit of care and effort.

£11.25 £11.25 for a large glass of red wine (Malbec) I nearly drop through the floor when he said it £7.75 for Merlot which I got but that will be the last time going in there £17.50 for fish & chips which was tasteless the light bites fish in a burger at £9.50 was better value for money.

Lovely friendly attentive staff Meal of spinach & pepper stuffed field mushroom & asparagus/pancetta carbonara was the best meal I’ve had in a long while

Fabulous staff food good great atmosphere definitely recommend this place even on a wintery blowy day Dog friendly too.
