The best restaurants in Northumberland North East

We had a few burgers from Buger 8 at Bedlington St. We have noticed a decline in quality of the smash berger in this last one purchased today at 1600 hrs. I hope this was just a glitch as I have frequently mentioned to many of my friends that is one of the best burgers I've eaten in this country.

Food mediocre, barman obnoxious and rude!! Arrived around 2pm and asked if it was still possible to have something to eat, we got as answer "well, the menus are still on the table!". We were made to pay for the (flat) pepsi even before he'd filled our glasses. Even though we'd asked for "coke" he gave us pepsi, although when the next customers asked for coke, he told them rather abruptly they could have a can of coke or draft pepsi. When ordering a plate of soup he acted slightly confused and corrected us with, you mean a "bowl" of soup. All in all, a not very pleasant or relaxing experience, barman wasn't trying to be funny, just rude. There were only 2 other tables occupied with couples, one eating, one only with drinks. A place to avoid!!

Went for dinner on the 27th December, we were a party of seven, I could not fault anything at all ,Food was first class, waiter service excellent, I have been several times and always an all round excellent service in all aspects of this resterant Wellworth a visit ,

After the rain we received while we visited the camp, it is pleasant to enter this warm space and have something hot and visit the museum once dry and reconstituted.

Personal service, great food. We were the only two in the restaurant, cannot understand why! Had an amazing bottle of Hermitage red wine.

Been closed for about a month now, Google and Facebook pages need to be updated.

Zero stars. Closed before 10pm on a Sunday. Signs outside (and Google) claim 11pm. Don't waste your time.

After a walk at Hareshaw Linn we went for Sunday lunch at the Black Bull Hotel. Dogs welcome and they had lovely warm stove. Dinner was perfect, proper yorkshire puddings. 👍

Large Kebab is a pitta bread filled with meat and chips drenched in garlic not very nice at all will not be returning

Really tasty food, great service and one of the nicest hot chocolates I have ever had.
