The best restaurants in Blackburn with Darwen North West

LOVE IT ITS AMAZING AND GREAT FOOD and they were super nice!! The food was delicious and great service, deserve best ratings

Ordered through Uber eats and was bombarded with calls informing me they had no wedges and what do I want instead. 3 different people rang me and no one accepted (or understood) I didn’t want a replacement but was continued to be pushed sides and cheesy bloody chips. I asked continuously to cancel the order but reluctantly agreed to accept the kebab and cash for the wedges. The large mixed kebab was tiny. The smallest naan I’ve ever seen from a takeaway. No salad, no chili sauce and what the hell that white meat was is anyone’s guess. The food was smothered in garlic sauce and all in all was just inedible even if it had been enough to share (as was the plan) I called the restaurant and the ‘ I don’t speak English’ card was played twice, but only after I’d explained myself again, before being put on to person number 3 who was patronising and rude and reverted back to offering the cheesy fries!!! It’s two hours since I ordered and I’m still awaiting them to collect the incorrect order and refund me. I’m the mean time we have had beans on toast!!!!

First time we visited this establishment. The staff were very friendly, polite & proffesional. The service was very good, they were attentive & checked we didn't need anything else. The food came out in a timely manner and was fresh, tasty & well presented. The Mocktails were delicious 😍 We had a pleasant experience, be back again soon! Only critism I personally have is, I didn't feel there was enough choice for vegetarian/Vegans. Apart from that cant fault anything. Thanks. 👌

Worst place ever! Staff service terrible whilst ordering through drive through they had no manners we were then asked to park up and Waited 20 minutes on the car park for them to bring it us went inside to see where it was and they hadn’t even processed the order the staff where incredibly rude and it is not worth your time!

I wrote my review 3 out of 5 because they did not send an apple pie and they must not have read my order properly some of my food came cold as well.

Received a leaflet drop through the door recently so decided to try as our usual Chinese takeaway does not open on a Sunday. Big mistake. I ordered a special fried rice at £6.50. Listed as King prawns, beef, roast pork and chicken. This was the worst special fried rice I have ever tasted. All the meat was very chewy and I could not dicepher which meat I was eating as it was all so bland. The rice was over cooked and the chips that I also ordered were cold and had to be re heated when home. This is certainly one Chinese takeaway that I will not be returning to and I strongly recommend others to follow suit but reading other reviews, it seems like I am not alone.

I rang to enquire about the burger deal, the person who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional.

I was excited to visit this place. It looked so lovely from the outside. When we got inside, I was impressed. It was modern and very nice. Loved the setting. Then we ordered. It was horrible. If I didn’t know any better, the taste of the cake was like it was microwaved. It was hard on the edges and the ice cream had little pieces of icicles in it. The plate was chipped and had a crack. Why use that to serve dessert in is beyond me. It was a disappointment to say the least.

We went into gregg’s to have lunch, I will admit it was busy, we asked if we could have a cloth to wipe the tables down as it was a mess we were informed that someone would come and clean the table which she did with a spray and blue paper towel then preceded to wipe the food over my son and onto the floor , the floor was full of food which had not been swept up earlier. This I found disgusting as people were eating with children and I was actually looking to see if any rats was about due to the amount of food on the floor, If I was the manager the person would have been sacked this is not very hygienic and if you know the store gets busy as it was then employ someone to make sure tables are cleaned and food is swept up. Needless to say I will not be going back and advice people to check the place is clean before eating in there

Ordered two meals to take out: Big Mac Meal and 9 Nugget Meal both with Coke Zero’s. Big Mac after a 3 minute drive was cold and had no cheese on it.(I was going to order a double Cheeseburger but noticed they weren’t available- could they have ran out of cheese perhaps?) Chips also cold. Nuggets Luke warm at best with neither the Chips nor the dips which were part of the order. One coke was at least 2 inches lower than the other. All of this for a princely sum of around £16. Feel like my wallet has just been dipped. By far the worst McDonalds I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten them across Europe and in the States. Absolute shambles.

Don’t think they could hire any less competent people if they tried. Always something missing and foods barely hot. Avoid

Really bad customer service order a chicken and rice meal didn't give chips drink and sayces rang back up and they said wait until the next day and come and get the remaining chips drink what was I supposed to do leave the food till the next day to eat

The waiting time is ridiculous the tables where dirty staff seemed very lazy and couldn't not care less, the food came stone cold and I had a lasagne and my wife a jacket potato which was practically raw definitely and my father had a steak pie that was like a rock and cold chips the only thing was warm was the pea's.we sent the food back twice 3rd time we just got up and left got a refund.

These people clearly don't care about what is coming out of there establishment our order came to £15.20 and all we got was 1 mixed chicken & donner kebab 1 chips and a couple sauces thats is so you'd think paying that much it would be a healthy sized potion good quality and flavourful.. Nope complete opposite the chicken was unseasoned it was pale flat and chewy there wasn’t half a chicken breast worth of meat on it with a handful of donner meat chucked onto a small naan this was supposed to feed me and the girlfriend i think you'd still be left hungry if you ate it alone. Delivered on time was best thing about that meal

It should be open at 10 o’clock but I waited after 10 and it didn’t open and it was Saturday.very disappointed needed cake
