The best restaurants in Crompton Bolton North West

I live in Ainsoworth and use to have Zuga Fun as my local Chinese which was incredible but it shut down and I’ve not managed to find a Chinese that compares since, I’ve tried fortune cookie and happy house on the same road and they’re both good but I thought I’d try Jennys based off a recommendation. Me and my partner ordered2 S+P chicken, S+P chips, egg fried rice & veggie spring rolls. Price was around £20 which is reasonable and we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was!!The food was incredible! Loved every bit of it and will 100% be going back and recommending. Thankyou so much. (I was even 10p short when paying and they didn’t mind but I ended up finding the cash and leaving a tip. How lovely!

food nice service poor food just put on table rather then asking who having ect then placing it in front of them. was cold as fire door was open asked waitress to shut it ended up doing it myself.

Ordered online 3 different days, driver accepts then cancels when at restaurant 4 times then restaurant cancels order and then goes offline on uber eats. Keeps happening with online delivery and never pick up their phone when called.

Didn't eat, cocktails were poor and expensive. There is a happy hour but won't be going back. Trying too hard to be a city centre bar.

Great plaice to visit. The sea lion centre was interactive and amazing for the little ones. Drive through safari was awesome.

Popped in with daughter and grandkids hoping to get a table. Easy to order at the bar, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Staff were freindly and helpful. Children enjoyed playing in the wacky warehouse. Food nice and well presented. Kids enjoyed the Candy Mania desserts. Thank you

Great place for food at the centre of Bolton. Staff were amazing and the food was brilliant. Location is convenient too at the centre of town centre.

Food is really nice, good wine selection, staff are super kind. Good for price. Would go again. Only downside it will take 4-5 business days to go to the toilet as they don’t have any.

Wouldn’t bother going again. The service was shocking. There is a big banner outside which states “vegan menu now available” except when we walked in and asked we were looked at as of we’d just asked for a leprechaun to serve our food. Seen as it is marketed as a “health bar” you would expect vegan options but we decided to order anyway. I got a falafel wrap which granted was good quality and my partner ordered a jacket potato with no cheese or butter. My Dad ordered a full English and Grandad a chicken wrap. The person taking orders who I believe to be the owner was unable to listen to the full order and had to take each food item individually rather than as a list, making us feel like an inconvenience. The food took an age to arrive and when it did they were all served at different times and the jacket potato came with cheese and butter on despite it being said multiple times if we could have it without. The staff were apologetic enough but then we had to wait whilst a new jacket potato arrived by which time everyone else had finished their meals. This is in addition to cutlery on the tables being dirty and us having to get up to replace them ourselves with no apology given. It is a shame but the place seems like somewhere that is being run with staff with no experience of hospitality and no care for their customers.

WOW! Fantastic food, everything perfect, piping hot and so delicious. Great price too. Never used before but will defo be back in the future.

Comedically bad. In fact I thought I was caught up in some Michael McIntyre prank. They've taken everything that works about a restaurant and changed it so it doesn't. The app doesn't work, the robots don't work, they're unable to cope with large group bookings, and the restaurant manager was deeply committed to petty rules no one else seemed to know existed.

Service was attentive from the start and hot drinks were served quickly. Food arrived piping hot and it was beautiful. The atmosphere was lovely and the playlist was BANGING for a 90s baby, I had the best time! 🤣 couldn’t fault anything!

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had, asked for a steak bake and wedges and was willing to wait, they said 10 mins and I went back and the said the don’t know when it would be done, the people that work there are clueless and had no idea what they was doing or was just weird. The customer service was awful they said to me to wait another 15 mins when I already missed met bus. I didn’t. But if I knew I had to wait 25 mins for a pasty I would have just left it. Do not go to this Greggs like what

I can't remember the last time I went through the drive thru and didn't have to park up and wait 10+ minutes 😩 Think I'll have to start avoiding this one as it's been just getting ridiculous *Edit* waited 15 minutes to get an out of date apple pie. It is 14:10!

A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Good choice on the menu … and excellent service. It was lovely to be asked if we were happy with our food after it had been served (the sign of a good restaurant!!) … and we were 🥰
