The best restaurants in East Bury North West

Another excellent meal. The food and services is always top notch. There’s parking to the rear if you’re driving, Restaurant is always spotless, and the family that own Castello are so welcoming . Would definitely recommend.

Had a Xmas bottomless brunch here yesterday. Adia was amazing and looked after us so well. We started with some rum and coke and prosecco. The drinks were flowing well, music was great and we enjoyed every minute. After out brunch we played darts. Such a fun day. Thank you Adia for your attentive service.

Darn good coffee. I really enjoyed the maple salted sweet cream (the sweet cream is vegan). I got it half sweet to suite my taste- this is what I usually do at Starbucks or other cafe and it was perfect. 10/10 Long line around 1:30, but I got my coffee within 10-15 minutes. Bright open windows and covered patio so you can still sit out there on colder days

A great bar that I always try and visit when in Bury. Handy location at the interchange for a beer whilst waiting on a tram.

Drink was terrible. Knew it was off. Wouldn't change it.

I have only just started going to Bury Market now my partner and I are retired. We have often walked passed this cafe and admired how quintessentially English it looked, but always busy (which is a good thing🤗) today, with my partner, daughter, son and his wife the cafe had room for us. The staff are so warm and friendly, the menu covered every ones taste, the coffees are excellent, the food just perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is delightful with lots of quaint tea pots flowers and nicely worded plaques. The cleanliness is excellent. I look forward to my next visit as I know I won't be disappointed. Visited for the festive menu and starters were fine. Mains were more problematic.No roast potatoes,no stuffing,no cranberry sauce,pig in blanket in the singular rather than pigs in blankets in the plural,Desserts were also fine but not as pre-ordered. Whether we are cutting corners,cutting costs or just carelessness I don’t know but certainly not up to scratch. Almost forgot.the sprouts were like bullets and inedible. If the Manage r didn’t have to deal with telephone enquiries,telephone bookings,accommodation bookings,check ins and run the bar he might be able to provide some oversight on the food side.Needs support.

We have visited Leckenbys in Bury, many times over the years, it is simply the only place to eat in Bury, The food, the staff, the ambiance are beyond compare. i would advise anyone visiting Bury to make haste to Leckenbys. Customers will not be disappointed.
