Floral interior and relaxed lighting with friendly staff and delicate food with colourful presentation. Would recommend for brunch with friends especially.

Yet again very slow service , 1 hour and 30 minutes to wait for a burger and 2 pizzas! Sat on a table in the corner out of the way, no one came to take our order , then the long wait for the food, too busy and not enough staff . All the tables around us got their food before us even though we were there long before they had arrived. We won’t be going again, plenty of better places in Alderley with much better service. Service charge already added to the bill, what service! Disappointing evening out.

The best Costa in the area and also very consistent in terms of quality due to the staff and especially the manager. It does need to have a refurbishment now though as the decor is looking a bit tired.

Been here a few times whilst staying in the area and every visit has been memorable. Only stayed for drinks which has a great drinks menu. Will be looking to dine here early 2025.

Rita kindly found us a table for 2 at short notice, like within a minute! Had a lovely meal - oysters, bruschetta to die for, pizza and prawns and lobster. Everything was lovely. Waiting start so chilled but helpful. Decor and vibe lovely - DJ playing good songs. Eaten at a lot of places and this one is definitely up there. Looking forward to returning in April.

Hadnt been out in ages! we had a big table with loads of women and my sister was there. The lovely staff let us play all our favorite music and one bartender girl was dancing with us and was o kind o us all. fabulous night!

Stopped for a quick lunch, sevice very good and accommodating. Plenty of tables to choose from. Everything clean. Deliciouse cakes and biscuits on display but I was full after a turkey and trimmings sandwhich and a mocha.

We hired the dining room for a big birthday and had about 50 guests. Lauren and the team were excellent from the first time we visited. We had a hot buffet and organised a guitarist. The food was great, plenty of it and the room is warm and cosy. We looked at a few venues and so glad we decided on the Drum and Monkey. We’ll definitely be back.

Food was good but service appalling.

Not bad, but nothing special. Coffee is a bit disappointing and the service tends to be slow. Can't blame the staff for that though, it's the usual Alderley Edge clientele who hold everything up as they wait until getting to the front of the line before deciding what they want to drink - every single time this happens. Otherwise it's in a fairly nice spot and has outdoor seating.

First time visiting for my wife’s 50th. First impressions were good, lovely place and staff seemed attentive. The starter was really nice, only ruined by the mains coming before we had finished the starter. We ordered a second round of drinks which took 25 mins to arrive. I asked 3 times and was told they were on there way. When they finally arrived my wife’s drink was not what she ordered, was a rum based drink rather than gin. There were then 3 members of staff arguing right next to our table about the drinks orders being messed up. To top everything off I had called in advance and asked for a birthday cake to make it a special occasion, unfortunately this was forgotten about too. Overall just really disappointed. I really expected a better experience.

Hier geweest naar aanleiding vd goede beoordelingen , kon niet harder tegenvallen. Aperol was vooral veel water en ijs , eten matig , en het was duidelijk dat de tafel nog een paar keer moest roteren .

This place has PERMANENTLY CLOSED due to EGO of its own fault! Regrettably to have been there, I wish I could do much to help but as I said EGO has ruin the good and has done the right damaged.

As always excellent. Hot, tasty food, well priced and delivered on time.

The venue is well placed and spacious and the food was pleasant. The service made the evening disappointing. We had empty main course plates in front of us for over 40 minutes and eventually decided against a dessert. We got attention by standing and putting our coats on! It’s the first time I have asked for the gratuity on the bill to be removed. It was a shame as the place has a lot going for it.
