Breakfast was ok, for the price, went cold before you could eat it up though.Coffee that was served from a canteen was on the tepid side too. Building could do with a good dusting .We sat on the far side of the bar near the fireplace and above our heads was a huge spiders web with three flys in it.Not very hygenic for an eatery.

Went for my mum birthday has a last minute meal. The staff were amazing especially the member of staff who had a lovely Irish accent sorry I didn't get her name. Nothing was too much trouble and made every attempt to provide our meal in enough time to pick the children up from school. The food was excellent we are visiting again for a large family gathering. Highly recommend and accommodating to meet our needs thank you

Food is standard branded products. Staff need to get a better attitude or change their career choices. Exceptionally displeased with this stores staff. An uninterested staff member who was at best going through the motions of service ensured the visit was negative.

This is my local which used to be a 3 minute walk from my old house. We moved in January 2021 with another pub more local to us. No contest, we stayed with The Flying Lady as our local with Gill and the team who are just the best and most friendly team you can get. Sunday lunch is served and can be served as a take away. The quality of the food is absolutel amazing and the portions are off the chart, such good value for money. You can get baps on a Satirday afternoon to watch the football with the pub having both Sky and TNT across 4 screens for great views from most angles. The pub caters for events and having had the food from the catering I can attest that Gill serves the best sandwhiches in Crewe and the most amazing spread in general so highly recommended. D&D early in the week, Wednesday night is quiz and I hear its very popular with Karaoke on a Saturday. What I love the most about The Lady is that no matter what day I go in I can have a laugh as there is always someone there to have a casual chat to and a general giggle. On the flip side if I have work to do before heading home from the office, I can set myself up and have a pint with my laptop and I am left alone to get on with it. Great pub for anyones taste.

Love me a pastie with the pigeons on the bench outside. Top pastie fillers from my top pastie drillas!

Visited today with a friend . She had got the sparking afternoon tea voucher as a 60th birthday gift. We were quickly seated by a fairly friendly lady. Tea arrived (from a selection of about 8/9) and was very nice . Room was clean and crockery lovely. Lady asked did ask if any allergies . As we walked in I noticed that every table had left a lot of food which was unusual for me? Anyway when ours arrived I immediately could see why. We weren’t talked through it or told what the cakes were (some we still don’t know), no menu either. When a hotel charging £31 per person you at least bake your own scones or buy the ones that aren’t 4 for £1.50 in Aldi/iceland. Little Victoria sponges were as hard as rocks. Shop bought Scones made worse by being served with buttercream rather than clotted cream?! I took a bite out of curtesy but it was shocking. I LOVE afternoon tea and would never ever not take left overs (if there was any) home but we left 3 and a half scones out of 4 & over 70% of the other cakes. Shocking. Lady didn’t ask how it was so we just left. We noted a table of 3 left most of theirs too - I heard them complain but the lady just kind of shrugged I don’t think there was much she could do? Would defiantly never go back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We had afternoon tea at rookery 3 weeks ago and that was a million miles better . To the hotel- please listen to these reviews. This was a special birthday and we felt dreadful that someone had spent £60 on shocking food

Very convenient being near the business park for breakfast/lunch. Co-op (nearby) meal deal is cheaper, but if you fancy a pastie and a doughnut then this is the best place to go. There is limited seating inside but I imagine most people are grabbing food on their lunch break and so will not be staying. It is attached to a petrol station
