Called in for a drink after a hike on the Gritstone Trail. Lovely country pub with excellent choice of hand pumped beers. Barman was very proficient. Served two people at a time while pulling perfect pints. Not many bar staff with this skill these days. Comfortable pub with a real fire and fresh decor. Excellent!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicinos and was blown away by the flavors and quality of the dishes. Every bite was a burst of authentic taste, and the presentation was top-notch. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the service at Chicino’s was absolutely outstanding especially Asim. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their attention to detail was impressive. They made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. This used to serve the best pizza for miles but the pizza chef left: : not sure what it like now for food. However, a great place with excellent beers : great for early doors

Amazing little friendly pub. Warm welcome and dog friendly

Ordered 2 x fish and chips and a curry sauce. Taste so good. The fish was very fresh and skin was removed (some chippys don’t remove the skin from the fish). Curry sauce was amazing too. It’s cash only but there is a Co-op a few doors down that has a cash machine that doesn’t charge for withdrawals.

Best takeaway pizza for miles around! By far the nicest takeout I have had locally, always consistently good and the staff are amazing. Always friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommend!

Food very good, lovely decor. However at 3.30/4pm on a Saturday afternoon I don’t appreciate bad language from 3 grown men especially when we have our 9 & 12 year old grandchildren with us. When I raised this with the waitress she simply said she hadn’t heard anything. We are booked to go back next Saturday in a large party including children and I’m very apprehensive about it now. Spoilt the afternoon with the children.

Went here lots of time and had a fantastic meal every time. Sorry it's closed due to the issues at capital walk. Anyone know if Brad has relocated anywhere?
