Sunday roast extremely tasty but disappointed with portion sizes and the high cost of any extras. The Food also needs to be served hotter as it was only tepid and the Yorkshire’s were cold. The manager saved the day by bringing some hot gravy with fresh Yorkshire puddings. The service was generally slow - having to wait 10 minutes plus for the drinks to be delivered and having to ask to order the food - after waiting over 15 minutes with menu. No salt and pepper on table and cranberry sauce not delivered until meal virtually fully eaten. Staff very friendly and possibly short staffed during our visit? We paid £140 for 4 adults and 2 young children for 4 roast dinners, 2 children’s dinners, 2 children’s ice creams and drinks. Happy with cost if portion sizes were increased as I left still Hungary! I would try again if not for the small portions.

I popped in mid-afternoon hoping for a coffee, cake and a glass of wine - managed to get two of the three. Although it's a café, it's definitely more wine focused. Service was quite slow and it wasn't even that busy. The cake / pastry choice was almost non-existent, so I opted for a selection of breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The focaccia was stupendous and highly recommended. I didn't eat anything else so can't comment on other food. The wine I chose was okay but nothing outstanding. Ultimately it is a 'wine café' so more about managing my own expectations.

A warm greeting upon arrival and shown to our table in a very warm room!! Lovely fire and the whole place is a nice place to spend some time. The lady who took our orders and attended to us was perfection and very tolerant as we were late due to roadworks and massive diversions and queues!. She was ace. The food was excellent - all 3 courses, Nice for a change to have a side dish of vegeatbles. In some places veg seems to be non existant. A good time and as previously a few years ago was worth visiting.

Very good choice of craft beers and one of the best outdoor drinking areas in Chester (if not the best!). Edit: ate here for the first time today and it was bang on! Service was 1st Class and the beer was excellent too!

I live in Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port and usually eat out on Friday nights at local pub/restaurants. I usually only visit here on my way back from shopping in Chester, but just fancied fish and chips today, so made the 40min bus journey to them-yes they are that good! Had haddock, chips, mushy peas and scraps and ate in. The venue is a proper fish and chip shop not a greasy takeaway and lots of time and care clearly goes into the business. Whenever I eat in, one of the 'friers' always comes over when he has a quite moment to ask if everythings ok with food, impressive when the shop was fairly non stop with people coming in. As someone born in Yorkshire who came to live in Cheshire when I was five ,I really miss good quality fish and chips and this venue transports me back there. They're also way better than the Harry Ramsdens chain which have gone really downhill in the last few years.

Myself and my family visited Little India last night and WOW! What great service and delicious food! Each member of staff made us feel so welcome and the food was absolutely beautiful. We are already planning on returning and will be recommending to everyone we know.
