The best restaurants in Castle Lancaster North West

7 of us came for lunch today, the waiter was helpful and polite, attentive without being intrusive - always a bonus! We all had the Pie of the Day, a Chicken and Leek concoction, clearly made on the premises and covered in the most beautifully cooked flaky pastry - total comfort food, super portion size, but we all managed to clear our plates, to the waiter's surprise and hopefully the chef's delight. A lovely meal out, thanks to the King's Arms

Two trips to here and to the shop whilst in the area and love the coffee, food and casual atmosphere. The shop always has a treat in-store for us

Got a delivery and was spot on ,did forget my milkshake but got one sent to my house within 10 minutes couldn’t fault them amazing service !! Xx

We have had a few orders from this place and some have been good but I do not like mayonnaise and they cannot seem to follow a simple instruction to remove it. Tonight's order not only had mayonnaise on it but the burgers were revolting and undercooked and the chips were just soaking in fat. We managed to get a partial refund through Deliveroo but I doubt we will ever order again.

Beautiful location. Excellent coffee. Burnt basque cheesecake was exceptional. Stylish and relaxed venue with excellent restroom. A lovely place.

I’m here early doors on an icy cold night so everywhere in town is very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff are on hand to serve an excellent, freshly cooked two course meal full of flavour. Even the Cobra 🍺 was on top form. Another satisfied customer 👍🏻 Many thanks

Das reguläre nero- Programm wird hier geboten. Die Bedienungen sind höflich und freundlich, doch muss etwas Zeit einkalkuliert werden. Das alte Gebäude verleiht dem Café einen netten Charme

Gran lugar, la cafetería en sí es preciosa y muy espaciosa. El personal es muy educado y el servicio es rápido. Mi única crítica sería que se habían agotado los sándwiches a la 1 pm un fin de semana (compramos los últimos 3 en justicia) pero todavía había gente esperando. El café es excepcional.

Pizza was bosh. Stella came warm👎Chips were still potatoes and had a salty white sauce on it.Battered sausage wasn’t battered and had to eggs with them.Pizza had bites in it.The guy was smocking hot🥵 Overall very good chippy👍

i went to Castle stone grill with my wife and two friends. We ordered 4 hot sizzling steaks with salad and side dishes. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly and welcoming throughout our meal. I have been back four times now and can not fault the service and food. Well worth a visit ****.
