The best restaurants in Pendle North West

Proper local pub, no children or food.

Ordered a bacon cheese burger meal yesterday evening. Took an hour to arrive and food was lukewarm. Also the burger was soggy and not nice at all. Standards have gone downhill for the last couple of years.

Came in 15 minutes and was great quality! Thank you very much!

Nobody answering the phone. Came down and two men seemed moody, the kebabs were made very quick but felt like it was warmed up rather than freshly cooked, bread was also berry dry and like it had been toasted. Not sure why it has changed

You would think that when GoodvYear is closed that they would try to capitalise on the available local trade. However, long waiting times are one thing but the food is just diabolical, dried up meat, stogy sauce with lotsbof cornflower. Absolute rubbish, I make no wonder good year, don't deliver and don't take card, they have no competition from oriental.pearl

Didn't stay here, but did have an excellent dining experience. The food, service and decor were of a very high standard. The beer selection could have been better. But very enjoyable all round.

Yet again we had a fabulous lunch. The food quality is outstanding and the staff are wonderful, Shirley looked after us so well. I had the cheese and onion pie with beans, brilliant. My bro Tony had steak and ale pie. Superb!

Chips are nasty not cooked properly but burgers and other stuff they are well nice and 1 more thing 1 of the worst chunky chicken in the country I don’t recommend to any1

Lovely staff. Good fresh food. Amazing service. Parking on the side streets and not far from town centre. They used to have a small eat-in area, but since Covid have removed it. Keep it up. We'll done.

The food was absolutely disgusting, all the meals tasted the same -like Gravy and the delivery driver was delivering with a lovely cigarette in his mouth.

Love walking to the Anchor , the atmosphere inside is a proper traditional pub. Love the open fire there. Drink option great.

Didn’t receive chips and a drink

Excellent hosts and a lovely friendly atmosphere. We always get a lovely welcome here! The White Lion is a very old traditional inn, that has been modernised but still retains its charm. We last visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed a live acoustic music event which is held there each month. The pub provided supper for the musicians, which on this occasion was delicious pizzas. We found the hosts to be welcoming, friendly and generous. Would highly recommend.
