The best restaurants in Walkden North Salford North West

The food at KFC can always be improved for the price if it, wherever you go. However, the food at the Walkden branch used to be quite poor, yet has improved over recent years. The staff currently on hand are very polite, which always has a positive effect on the customer.

We had used pizza parlour on and off quite a lot over 4 years or so,food used to be good and reasonable, the last time we had a delivery was over 5 months ago and won't be ordering again from here, the guy who answers the phone is surly, rude and abrupt. The last takeaway we had was absolutely disgusting, the toppings looked liked they were thrown on cheap tasteless toppings,the pizza dough was too thick and soggy,if I've had a burger the bun is soggy and falls to bits obviously cheap .the fries always turn up either limp or overcooked. I'm only posting this on account of a friend who has had similar issues. I feel sorry for the 2 delivery guys who are always chatty polite and friendly.

The chicken Tikka kebab from here is hands down my favourite chicken kebab ever. It's always bang on! For some reason tonight, it wasn't as good flavour? kinda just really salty compared to normal. I hope the recipe hasn't changed. I'll order again for sure. £3.50 delivery fee is abit cheeky considering how close we live but food is worth it to be fair

Really disappointing, everything was absolutely laced in salt. It was in edible. Not just over salted for 1 person everyone felt the same.

Do not order from here. We ordered a Mac & Cheese, they charged my card £10 then gave me a pizza! I said I ordered Mac & Cheese and they said we have none left! They said just take the pizza and we will refund you in two days, they don’t have any cash. I didn’t take the pizza & have been back in numerous times with no refund! They have offered food from the shop, I do not want food I want a refund. Another lady was in the shop complaining for the same reason, absolute fraudster franchise!

AVOID!! Probably the UKs worst Mcdonalds and unfortunately it's my local one. The seating area is absolutely freezing, no heating. Very uncomfortable especially when you have to wait a long time for food. Staff are rude and obviously not interested. You don't even get a thank you. Whilst Mc Donalds used to be somewhere you could get food quickly, it frequently takes over 15 minutes for your food. Sometimes at this branch it's up to half an hour. According to staff drive thru and delivery customers take priority. The toilets are tiny and dirty. The 'refurbishment' made the seating area and the kitchen separate. This means the seating area cannot be seen from the kitchen and they don't have any staff in the seating area early mornings or late at night. I cannot think why you would want to make it completely separate? Last time I was in there I was hassled by a very aggressive beggar for money and food. The staff were absolutely oblivious to this as they are shut away in the partitioned kitchen, so I wouldn't recommend going in when it's quiet as felt very unsafe. Seems a bit pointless posting a review as if the management and franchisee seem as disinterested as the staff and I can't see any improvement coming from this. The many previous poor reviews are testament to this.

pizza was cold asked for salad got box of cold chips phone number on web site not in use will not be goingback.

Made the mistake of parking here for 13 minutes and got a £60 fine. Very poor signage and parked here as McDonalds Car park was full. Further as I parked before 10am the restaurant was closed and everyone using the car park before 10am would have been fined. Disgraceful! Walkden KFC you can go Cluck Yourself!!!

Absolute disgrace. Food turned up half missing no drinks. They won’t answer the phone. And what did come was cold. It’s not the first time either. Would it help if I use a foreign name next time to get my full order.

Ordered food, it came on time at half ten at night. Instead of knocking at the door the delivery man decided to beep his horn loudly and shout at our house. He then rang me to come out to him because he didnt want to leave his car. He eventually came to our door and proceed to call me "sweet Cheeks" and other asorted names of a sexual manner. We didnt eat most of the food it was inedible. Not at all worth the time or money. Will never go here again. Further more they are not listed on the food standards agency and rats have been reported at the take away. I will be contacting food standards as well.
