The best restaurants in South Ribble North West

Took one bit of my sandwich today and had to spit it out and throw it away. Pretty sure it should be greasy spoon not spoony grease. Cheers for that Pennies! EDIT Response: Yes the food was greasy, a waste of time and money hence this scathing review for Penningtons in Walton le Dale. I didn't have high expectations but literally it made me wretch before it went straight in the bin. It was so bad and disappointing I'm taking the time to write to you as I detest throwing food away.

One of the best Asian restaurants in UK! Their food is amazing and of really high standard! Also the restaurant boasts of pretty good ambience with a nice bar.Will definitely visit again!

Great pub, old coaching house, great atmosphere, friendly staff, pool table, dartboard, good menu with loads of daily deals, and free parking... excellent, definitely recommend.

First time ordering since the golden phoenix was destroyed by the new owners, I was a little skeptic about ordering as I like to ‘stick with what I know’ however i couldn’t live in the past anymore, now I ordered my usual with high ecpectations? Not only was those expectations met but they exceeded massively! My ONLY moan is there wasn’t enough sauce but then can you ever have too much sauce ? My delivery time was near as dam perfect, I don’t like orders that arrive 10 minutes after they’ve been placed, food was hot enough to burn the roof of my mouth and my dog won’t stop drooling🙃 overall the is the best Chinese takeaway in leyland #10/10 #noodles #chinese #perfect #squidgames

We use this takeaway around once a week. The food is delicious and priced well. The owner is a lovely lady she is a pleasure to chat to and her two children are very well mannered, I always enjoy seeing them. I highly recommend!

A traditional small North of England neighbourhood caff. Good honest grub cooked in front of you. No fancy frills just the one that is most important, the very friendly atmosphere. Had breakfast there on three occasions and very impressed with each. All three breakfasts were good quality and of a size to more than adequately fill most. The small cooked breakfast I would call large and there were other size,s the largest being bin lid!!

Moved to leyland recently and tried many Indians and none of them compare to Mumbai. Big portions and great tasting food all round! Highly recommend
