The best restaurants in Longdendale Tameside North West

We turned up just as they were closing as we got stuck in traffic, we’re currently visiting family in the area and really wanted a Chinese before we leave tomorrow. The really kind Lady and gentleman opened the kitchen back up for us to cook our meal. We ordered a large amount of food between a few of us and it tasted absolutely delicious! Amazing portion sizes and even better prices!! We have had exactly the same from other Chinese takeaways and they’ve been much more expensive and worse in taste. IF YOU LIVE LOCAL PAY A VISIT TO THIS TAKE AWAY!

Absolute joke of a place. Had a Christmas Eve pyjama party booked the kids have been looking forward to it and just been told off the restaurant that it was a mistake and mottram wood aren’t doing the Christmas Eve pyjama party. So how has it been confirmed I have an email infact two and is it advertised everywhere all the websites an socials. mottram wood have confirmed the booking, when I enquired through greenking website they’re also advertising the event everywhere yet it isn’t on! 🫡 What a joke!. Not only this we turned up yesterday with the kids as they are advertising Santa grotto on every sat/sun 1pm-8pm got there at 5 to be told Santa’s had a day off today. Please don’t say you do events if you don’t false advertising to adults is one thing but letting down kids is horrible.

Absolute joke the food was cold and the driver couldn’t logins the address although it’s 200 metres away from the cafe. Absolute joke and I want my money back

We order a couple of times a month because the food is by far the best we’ve ever had from a Chinese takeaway… Even knowing it can often take a couple of hours for it to be delivered. If we’re hungry and want it early we collect instead. We live in GeeCross and have tried to find a better local Chinese between Hyde/Marple etc but nowhere comes close on quality and taste, big portions and usually one of the cheapest. Of course we would love delivery to be quicker and more reliable… but we put up with that because we just can’t get better food anywhere else. Highly recommended salt & pepper wings & chips, prawn toast, beef chow-main, sweet & sour chicken.
