Great pub, friendly staff lovely beer

Took the family here for something to eat last week and were all very happy with our meals. Quality of was fantastic and all cooked to perfection! We'll be going back here again pretty soon.

Although I live in Bromborough, I travel to the Hungrys in Tranmere, always plenty of staff on so you very rarely have to wait long, nice and friendly too!

Burger was delicious fries excellent and very good size portions highly recommended

First visit tonight. I’ve heard great things for a while but never tried until tonight. Literally the best taste explosion I’ve had for a long time. The staff were amazing and the chefs were friendly and accommodating. We had the bruschetta trio to start which had a bit of everything for our party. Two of us had wild boar pizza which was handcrafted and baked by a young man who looked like he was living his best life the concentration on his face was impressive. I can’t wait to come back and work my way through the menu! Hidden gem in the heart of west Kirby.

Local venue and has some good entertaining nights, D.J and karaoke nights, quiz nights, football and sports on screen.. Good host and bar staff...

We went mid week and it was quiet, my partner enjoyed her meal and I had the kebab which I liked - the only criticism I have was the bread, which was soaked in juices and cut up, which was not to my personal liking. The service was fine, attentive and personable. We really enjoyed the décor - it was just unfortunate that it was a very quiet night, ourselves being the only recipients. We would definitely go again, probably at the weekend next time - though we would encourage everyone to get out there and support local businesses in return for a unique Mediterranean experience.

The one one with least chips the village, the other one is from the river queen, big difference and charged the full price for a handful of chips. Shocking, won't be going there ever again, don't give me substandard food and charge me full price. If you can't deliver the full order don't charge me for the full price, shocking service 😑

During recent visit noted that standards had slipped. The breakfast was poor, and left unfinished. The staff although efficient, were not as welcoming, or as friendly as on previous visits. The only positive was that the coffee was good, although the lack of availability of cream was disappointing.

The food in this chippy is revolting. Square shaped meat in a special dish? I could only handle 1 mouthfull b4 the whole meal went into the bin. Grey coloured beef? Or is it even beef? Avoid if you value your stomach.

Came in on Saturday and it was a lovely evening with lovely people and staff. Keep up the fab work guys 👏
