The best restaurants in Northgate Canterbury South East

I've been here before and left a 5* review then. This is another one. New information - the biryani is just wonderful. Proper Indian biryani - beautiful rice, spices and meat with a superb vegetable curry to go with it.

Ordered a sushi platter for sunday collection but the kiosk wasn't staffed so why let me pay when it's not open? *Went back in the week and got it sorted. Great staff, terrible app.

Was once a great take-away! Now very poor and overpriced! Cannot in any way recommend. Bits of your chosen meat in a one-size-fits-all sauce! Dreadful!

Food always hot and tasty,delivered quickly,drivers always very nice, Please please don't put carrots in the veggie dishes!!

Always busy but can usually get everything I want. Added bonus is Argos in store.

Great place for fast food and a drink

Food is what Papa Jhon should be. Have not had any issues with staff over few years I have used this place. But it is not comfy at all inside, usually there for 2 minutes to collect.

I've been here a few times for the great price for the amount of food you get. I only recently found out that the chips that come with the meal deals are the small portions instead of the medium ones; they just give you that many chips! Honestly one of my favourite places to get food from the past few years.

Of late you can no longer get a takeaway coffee in before work, (unless work is next door), as in their wisdom coffee is now only available from 0830, now too tight a window for some of us in Canterbury to get a decent one before we start at 9.

Ordered two sausage rolls and coffee. After I paid and picked up the rolls both were stone cold. Asked if the had hot or warm ones but said no and not offered to change. Told me they are not kept warm in the counter. Could of told me they were cold and I would have had something else. It was 1-15pm and lunch time. Are they not selling many at lunchtime???
