Wonderful New Year’s Eve meal with the family. Very accommodating for a food intolerance, delicious meal, and super friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be returning 10/10 🥳

Had a Christmas lunchtime party on the 13th, . Food was fantastic no plastic meat, lots of everything piping hot excellent service, waitress was so welcoming , would definitely recommend to friends.

We have just had the best Yorkshire pudding wrap ever! Amazing service and the best food!

Wow the food was amazing, all 5 different meals, my gluten free pasta was delicious, cooked to perfection with a carbonara sauce, our starters were also lovely, we could not fault any of it , every mouthful was delightful. We will be back. Picture 1 is my Gluten Free pasta, yummy 🤤

Great fish and chips bar, fantastic piece of cod and very good chips.

The restaurant was very quiet so not many orders being cooked but our food was barely tepid. I’m not sure how grilled food can be cool. We would not visit again and cannot recommend. No one from the management bothered to speak to us

Really disappointed and probably won't use again. So booked a table weeks in advance for New years day for 6pm. Knowing there wasn't a lot open that night in the area and we want a decent meal ending a brilliant couple of nights here and having dined here many times before over the years. But unfortunately the limited menu was literally sold out of any thing containing a meat product apart from the burgers. No chicken wings, steak or lamb?? Know surly whoever is ordering the kitchen supplies knows how many guess you have in the hotel and booking plus. Allowing for any walk-ins you can quite easily have your kitchen stocked with plenty of food for your bookings that evening, especially being part of the hotel. Not everyone wants fish & chips. Now Sophie the young waitress was fantastic, she was very professional and apologetic but I did stress that it wasn't her fault or problem. It completely lays at the feet of the kitchen. As for the limited food we received the burgers were OK but smoothed in sauce. crab on potato totts was awful. Just a smigging of crab served on Icelands frozen potato totts. Stopped for a coffee. Ended up with boiled milk and a very weak black coffee. Very odd as we asked for actual coffee. Bring a thermos and sit on the beach. It would be better

I went to watch the football very nice pub with friendly barmaid. Also guest ale was only £4.20 a pint and very tasty. One slight grip was that the juke box was on making the commentary on the match hard to hear. As the pub was fairly empty and most customers seemed to be watching the match (it was a 5.30pm kick off) I would hope for the juke box to be off. I will definitely come back again but not to see the football unless the jukebox is muted during the match.

Between us, our party ordered the steak, trout, duck, a bunch of starters and desserts - all absolutely brilliantly cooked / prepared. With new chef, Jacob, at the helm, the restaurant is even better than it was before (and Jacob also kindly catered really thoughtfully for my father’s awkward salt allergy). This is such a lovely spot for lunch / dinner - a really cool restaurant with great staff. Highly recommended!

We ate at the restaurant on 16th December and based on the other reviews I think I was unlucky. The confit heritage tomatoes for the starter were poorly cooked. There was hard green tomato alongside mushy red tomato. My halibut main was overcooked. At £28 I wish I had sent it back. But we were with friends, and the restaurant was their recommendation. And overall we had a good time so I didn't want to create a bad vibe. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was, for a Monday, really good. I take responsibility for not sending back my dishes but the cooking here doesn’t match the London prices. I wouldn’t go back.
