The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North Deal Dover South East

After a walk along the seafront we decided to pop in for a bit of lunch. After reading some reviews we were sceptical but glad we ignored them!! We ordered a variety of food, Toasties, jackets and paninis. All came out hot with plenty of filling and very tasty!! The deserts were delicious. The place was very clean with friendly and accommodating staff. Would happily come again!

Delicious coffee and vegan sausage roll and such a lovely and friendly manager, Mercy, who is obviously very passionate about what she does. Highly recommended!

Very rude lady behind the counter serving - dark hair - didn’t want to be there - so don’t !! No smile , no friendliness. Your not doing us a favour we are the customer - the young girls bringing drinks out were smiling and attentive please take a head out of there book - disgraceful behaviour treating customers with such disrespect

Went with friends for a pub lunch, food was hot and fresh cooked. Good value. The pub lets you bring in dogs which was great, nice atmosphere with the fire going. Football was on and sound was down, also good. Staff kind and efficient. Nice couple of hours.

This place really is up there as one of the nicest pubs in Deal, a perfect all-rounder. Traditional and welcoming, you can find yourself a nice cosy table or stand at the bar for a chat. Good selection of drinks and lovely food. Off the beaten track, so not overcrowded; really worth a visit!

The man who was on the machine had no idea what he was doing it took 11 minutes for me to get my coffee the poor girl working was doing absolutely everything as the boy was incapable of doing his job properly after waiting nearly 15 minutes for a coffee it was awful. Will not be going in there again if he is working

I have been looking forward for a long time to taste the Caribbean sheff food but we were very disappointed the food was not very hot and at a cook myself it looked and tasted as through it had just been warned up it was very dry as though it had been cooked a lot earlier flavour was very good Not the same as when he was at the Astor and it was all cooked fresh. Judging by the amount of fingerprints on the glass doors of this property it looked not to have ben cleaned for weeks. The interior door mat was clogged with leaves and bird fluff and a medium sized dog was seated on the leather padded seats at the entrance. We surveyed the scene and quickly escaped.

Service very slow. We sat down (after confusion around tables) and didn’t get drinks for 30mins, children’s drink wasn’t chilled. Food was vile most of it had clearly been frozen. ‘Wild mushrooms’ were lukewarm slimy sliced chestnut mushrooms.

With big chains nearby it is easy to overlook this little place, but please don’t! It has a lovely atmosphere and a good selection of lunchtime foods and plenty of different drinks. Every one of our party was able to try a different flavour milkshake!
