It has good prices, friendly staff, decent wifi and a nice atmosphere without being too crowded. Thoroughly reccomend.

Went in for a coffee and cake with my partner, which was a little over priced but OK. Unfortunately I was appalled by awful behavior of a member of staff to a customer. They had bought a coffee, but had purchased a pastry from elsewhere previously, and was picking at it out of the bag. It was pointed out to them in the bluntest of terms that the pastry was not purchased from the shop, and the customer was politely apologetic. Increadibly the staff member launched into a tirade of abuse creating a very uncomfortable atmosphere for all. She was certainly rude and almost bullying in her approach. Very unprofessional and I'm sure that the customer will never visit again. For that matter, I don't think that I, or my partner, would want to go to a place where staff behave in this way.

Looks like my review was removed. I was here last night but only men were served even though I was there first. I objected as a staff member reached past my left ear to take money from man behind me. As my review as been removed with no apology from the pub management, I will now forward a complaint to the licensing department. I won't go away until the pub changes its practice. Equality for all customers.

I had an amazing time here, the pizza choices are authentic and delicious, varying styles for different tastes and the pizza dough was the best part. The owners explained how they use a specific flour to make it, and they taste amazing. Not chewy, not thick, perfect crust and seasonings. Me and my partner also had lattes made freshly ground which were good beans. The men who served us were friendly and the atmosphere was good as it was almost empty but the music and the lighting made it cosy. I love the decor. Takeaway was heaving all night despite the restaurant being empty which thankfully made for a pleasant dining experience

We have visited the Thai bookshop twice now and it is simply outstanding. Such delicious food- the massaman curry is amazing. Great price too. The service is always so polite and quick. Lovely atmosphere in a unique bookshop. Will return again and again!

We had the camembert sharing board which was just enough. It had 2 baked camemberts with gherkins, peppers, hummus, pesto, black grapes, sun-dried tomatoes and salad with crispy bread! We thoroughly enjoyed it! All for £22.95 I think

Cosy pub to stumble upon after a cold walk up East Hill. Nice atmosphere and enjoyed a bowl of chips in the warm.

We came here as a family for the Bingo night at Christmas. It was such a lovely Tuesday evening playing bingo, winning big cash and having fun! Graham is such a great host at Bingo and we loved it as it’s different but very fun. We can’t wait to come along to more bingo nights here at the Dolphin.

Usually love this coffee shop but unfortunately it's now been bought to my attention that they allow dogs to lay on the sofa. I do not wish to go home covered in dog fur. Therefore I will not be going again.

The host who works here is so friendly, welcoming and efficient 😊 (with long dark hair) and the risotto was so good!

Always friendly, warm & inviting. Good selection of unusual beers - plus proper ciders, perry's, gins & all sorts of other things if they are what you're after.

Cannot fault this little place to eat. Food is fab, the atmosphere is fab and I love that they welcome the dogs. The staff were friendly. Highly recommended the afternoon tea and fish and chips
