I often stop by here to refuel on a dog walk (it's dog friendly) and it has never disappointed. The food is good and reasonably priced. In particular I would recommend the breakfast which is very good and offers great value and you get a cup of tea or coffee thrown in as well. The cakes are great and I often go for a toasted tea cake washed down with a coffee which, again, is reasonably priced. The staff here are wonderful and are so helpful & friendly nothing is ever too much trouble. As I'm usually on my own with our 2 dogs in tow when I visit the staff are always happy to bring my drink to the table to avoid any spillages caused by an excited dog hoovering up a dropped morsel in the complete different direction of my own travel! One word of warning they stop serving hot meals and breakfasts at 2.30pm after which it's just drinks, sausage rolls, pasties and cakes.

Very agreeable space, smart and well appointed, with superb views, freshly cooked food and a lovely owner. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, beautifully served. Tarte tatin "to die for". Kedgeree fishcakes of gorgeous texture and flavour. Altogether, a great experience. We are returning for a pre-Christmas dinner. A real find, I think....

We popped into today for a panini and hot drink after walking around Buttermere lake with our dog. Lovely bright and airy space with nice furnishings. Definitely picked the right place to eat. We would definitely return and recommend for others to visit too.

A superb base for a stay on the Island, if your plans are to explore, rather than beach. We booked a short, 3-night stay to explore the East side of the island and catch up with friends in Ryde and it was ideal. It is on the edge of a housing area, a short distance from the centre of Bembridge which has a few lovely artisan cafes, farm shop, pub, butchers, bakers and a Boots. Pleasant enough double room with en-suite up in the roof above the hotel entrance (there are three ways in!) with bottled water, biscuits and a kettle. Bathroom well stocked, and the shower is superb. The room door let light in all sides from the hall lighting, which makes me wonder if it is a functional fire door. The hallway light PIR sensor was not dependable, I reported it on checkout. For the second night I figured out how to get it to switch off, but the third night other guests had checked in and stayed opposite so the hallway, and our room was light all night, ok for me , but kept waking my partner. I forgot to mention I had to fix the door lock with the sugar tongs, the screws were loose 😊. We had dinner the first night in the restaurant, great waitress, food ok, but not really gastro, more just nicely done with an interesting menu. I read the Inn was closed for a long time and somewhat recently reopened, and looks to have a good set of locals visiting the bar area regularly, which is nice to see. I hope it does well and likely we will be back ... The breakfast is truly exceptional, no matter what you decide to have, whoever thought that menu up knows what a breakfast needs to provide.

Busy Bees Olive Tree is a must go to if on the Isle of Wight Great breakfasts, excellent quality Sausages etc and great toast, unlike many other eateries. Gorgeous Roast dinners, wonderful cake selection and excellent afternoon tea. Christmas time is an excellent time to visit, it's Christmas World time. We keep going back, excellent quality coffees too. 5 Star ☆☆☆☆☆

This little cafe sits right by the sea. The staff are really lovely and welcoming, despite finishing food for the day they still agreed to cook for us. Ham, egg and chips was amazing and our little one was very happy with his sausage, chips and beans. The menu is pretty extensive and there was some lovely cakes on offer too. Reasonably priced with proper mugs of tea. Toilets were also spotless which is also imperative!

This is a great 'out of the way' place to stop and have a quick bite to eat or drink, the cafe is set in the grounds of the abbey and there is seating inside and out. A lovely location on any day. There is a small menu of food available. Plus homemade cakes and hot drinks
