The best restaurants in Rainham North Medway South East

We have come from the Netherlands and I have seen great reviews about this place so had to try! I can say it was one of the best burger restaurants we have been to. The service was great, the portion sizes were great! We decided to share a few bits so we could a taste of different dishes and even so, that was more than enough for 2 people. The burger (fatty Freddy) had so much flavour, was juicy, would definitely recommend. We had loaded fries, these were some of the loaded qua toppings, it had a lot of flavour! We also tried beef Niknaks, these were great with favour! The only thing that could have been improved was a little more crispy, some pieces of beef were a little tougher and it was a little more soggy feel, a little more crisp would have been perfect, but I would still recommend. Additionally we had sauce. The cheese warm sauce is a must, that just goes with everything! I would also recommend the OG burger sauce, these two sauces were amazing with the burger and under ideal dishes! Location is great, plenty of choice for parking, we went during the day, it was calm and the interior was relaxing like a pub theme with tv’s on the wall, so great for football or sports. Overall, pretty impressed with this place and would recommend to other and come back when we are taking a trip to the uk again! It

Been twice now since the Rainham branch has opened. Very high end interior that's decorated really well and feels plush. Food was impeccable, we enjoyed a lovely breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. No criticisms really. The service was also fautless. It did not feel rushed or too slow and was comfortably attentive. Great for a catch up with friends - and a slightly more 'special' and luxurious breakfast for the area. Would definitely return in the near future.

phoned twice to find out where my food was as said it had been delivered. got told I'd get a call back but no call. rude delivery driver too

Disappointing experience this time. Food arrived cold, chips were under cooked and the delivery time kept getting pushed back. Ordered a larger poppas and felt like they were a regular. The delivery time was 10mins later than expected but the driver was with us not long after he collected. Shame really because normally the food is piping hot and early. Hopefully just a one off

Update to my review earlier this year, glad to say their back on track, crispy batter moist fish, good crunchy chips, loverly mushy peas. Buzzing Friday evening crowd great service great food reasonable price, thank you all coming back again and again, keep up the standard. Sorry no photos had to devour it!!

My crew mate and I usually manage to pop in early on a Friday evening after a hard shift on our ambulance. Even though our beer intake is necessarily very limited and we dine only very occasionally we have always been made extremely welcome by owners and staff alike. Wonderful atmosphere, very clean, cosy and friendly, great choice of ales and excellent well prepared food. The ham egg and chips dish is my personal favourite. Well done lads and thank you.

Food is good here especially their chicken burgers. Can be a little bit of a wait for the food to be ready. Far too many menu choices. Management should consider simplifying the menu.

Ordered a delivery last night the person took my card details and once he had taken my money he proceeds to tell me that delivery would be about an hour and twenty minutes because he only had one delivery. Surely it would be better practice for him to have given me that choice before taking my order, however it was delivered on time. Before ordering I asked if the meat apart from the pork was halal and was told it was. My sweet and sour soup unknown to me had pork in it. I rang to double check, same person asked the chef and said yes it had pork in it. My argument is when I’m asking about halal I’m a Muslim so surely he should have questioned my prefer for soup and asked “if I was aware there was pork in the soup”. His menu does not list the ingredients in any of the food so we are relying on him to inform us using his judgement, not calling back later in the evening as an after thought offering a replacement dish which fair play to him kind of redeems him to a degree as it was a kind gesture. My problem know is that I have a lot of food left over but can I trust this person who has told me “it’s halal” to eat what I haven’t yet opened for lunch today? It beggars belief how quickly trust can be broken!!

Always been impressed with the service and food but to order today and be told the usual online discount was not offered on Christmas Eve was very disappointing. I'll be taking my regular custom elsewhere now, poor show!

I have used this cafe for a good few years. The food has now gotten a bit hit and miss today I got a pie and chips which I asked to be made sure it was hot. The centre of the pie was cold .I did tell them the food was cold so I could not eat it and I sent it back. When I went to pay they charged me the full price

Pleasant bakery / cafe with good choice of breakfast sandwiches all freshly prepared by friendly helpful staff , and served to the table. The coffee was good too
