The best restaurants in Iffley Fields Oxford South East

No haber visitado Oxford antes de venir de viaje por unos días y encontramos este fantástico pub. Tenía un gran ambiente y estaba ocupado cada vez que visitamos. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Parece que todos aquí se conocen. Todos los clientes eran muy amables y el lugar tiene un ambiente realmente encantador. El Stella Artois en borrador aquí es lo mejor que hemos encontrado, muy animado y obviamente cuidan bien sus bombas. Además de esto era más barato para un par de pintas en nuestro pub local rey verde. Si viviera en Headington, este sería nuestro pub local. Muy acogedor. Muy recomendable.

We had a mixture of food, the gardeners breakfast was delicious - we don’t like tomatoes so asked for the breakfast without, we were offered an alternative additional item in lieu (without having to ask). We also had a Viennese crumble mince pie (Kat, the lady at the till recommended having clotted cream with it - a fantastic idea with we decided to take) and a ginger bread Christmas tree - the cakes were all delicious! The hot drinks were also good quality and very tasty. All in all a fantastic visit to the restaurant!!!

En realidad, tuvimos una serie de cenas y desayuno durante los 5 días en Oxford. La calidad de la comida y el servicio era excelente! El nivel de la cocina es bastante alto - - especialmente el Tagine - - no hay que perderse.

We were a party of 40, holding a wake for my father, in an area that provided a private space, without being 'cut off' from the main body of the pub. Dimitri and his team (including Chris, Matt and chef Atila) were brilliant in both planning the event and providing excellent food and service on the day. They took orders once everyone had arrived (we had agreed a tailored 2 course menu which was great value) and presented it efficiently and attentively, ensuring that everyone had everything they needed, including drinks orders. Many thanks for making a difficult day easier for everyone and helping to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Explained that my daughter has dairy allergies and we need a chicken pizza with vegan cheese and they bluntly said they would n’t do it!! It’s unbelievable that you cannot cater to a basic change .. it was as simple as not using dairy! And using an alternative cheese option! How on earth was that difficult.
