Delicious food Just a pity staff are not attentive. We paid in advance for our food and then joined 4 others. Marty didn't keep track of things and accused us of not paying when we were leaving. Most embarrassing and no apology, just surlyness, when we proved payment and complained.

Beautiful setting. Alas unloved and uncared for. Nightmare for anyone unsteady on their feet. Coffee luke warm, cake dry. Shabby chic carried to the nth degree.

Sat outside Kino in a lovely setting at 2.30pm for late lunch. Good choice of what we were looking for, placed our order and was promptly delivered by a charming young man. I have got to say the toasted ham and cheese sandwich along with the great salad was one of the best I think I have ever had….delicious. Great bowl of clean water for my dog to enjoy too…. Thank you.

Come here a few times for breakfast, always perfect and well priced, good service too. Will continue to go here

Absolutely lovely!! The cod and chips are always freshly cooked. Cod is always cooked to perfection 👌🏻 Chips are never dry or too greasy, and the food is not too overly priced either. Thank you for always providing the best fish and chips!

Lovely place for brunch. Friendly welcome and fresh, well-cooked food. Perfect when travelling through on the way from Hastings to Worthing, as right on A259.

My husband and I ate here twice in the space of a few days. Service was friendly and welcoming both times. On the first visit, our nachos and egg on toast were very nice. There’s a large variety of milkshakes to choose from - our White Twix and Bubblegum choices were amazing! Would love to try the iced cinnamon roll flavour. As we’d seen good reviews online, we booked a vegetarian afternoon tea. This consisted of sandwiches, quiche, mini cakes, scones and a surprise mini cheesecake towards the end. All of the sandwiches were served on seeded bread, which was an issue as I don’t eat this. Usually with afternoon tea, sandwiches come on at least two varieties of bread e.g white bread and seeded bread, so there’s something for everyone. I feel that when we booked the afternoon tea, the coffee shop should have informed us they usually make the sandwiches on seeded bread, or asked for our bread preference. With hindsight, I will specify with future afternoon teas which bread I would like to avoid this happening. They did kindly prepare additional sandwiches for me on white bread, at an extra cost. The food all tasted lovely and was very good value for money at £11 per person - we took the cakes away with us as were too full to eat everything we were presented with!

I made an order for delivery when it arrived I was disgusted to see that there was mould on my sons chicken burger. The quality if the food from this place has got worse and worse that's if they actually manage to get the order right in first place. I will never order from here again!

We ate here recently and it is very good, we often eat at the sister restaurant which is also exceptional. However, the most recent lunch was a very tough piece of cow which we had to chew and chew for ages until the final swallow. When we questioned the waitress she explained “we are using a sustainable part of the cow that no one eats” Which in my simple mind was ridiculous, I let the waitress know that our repeat business wasn’t sustainable if we have to eat that. A chuckle amongst us all. I hope they soon realise this and revert to using parts of the cow that are tasty and not chewy.

Wow! Food, drink, music and a friendly atmosphere make for a brilliant evening. Thanks to all there, you could not have done anymore.

Very Dog friendly great coffee- food looked amazing but we didn't have any as we were on a time constraint. Staff were really welcoming to us and our large puppy

Cheap tasting drinks and greasy food, makes Sids cafe from only fools and horses look like a 5 star establishment. Will not be going back! Better food in a classier establishment available five minutes further down harbour road at The Point.

Was driving along back to Bexhill from Eastbourne and wanted somewhere easy to get to for breakfast. Truly Scrumptious is next to lots of parking for the other shops at Ravenside, so not a problem parking up. Two lovely ladies, order for a bacon roll with or without onions and/or sauce. Very friendly service, early morning smiles, thank you ladies. Probably one of the best bacon rolls I have had. Coffee was excellent too. Reasonable price as well. Setting me up right for my day. Will definitely return as their hotdogs are great as well

We had dinner here. The menu is a bit unusual, with not too many homely choices, but we both had shoulder of lamb, which turned out to be a stew. Very pleasant and nicely presented it was too. Staff were (I think) somewhat inexperienced but very keen to do the right thing and there were no mistakes. It must be said that the dining room is rather cramped and the walls are painted dark red, which makes the whole room rather claustrophobic. We took coffee after the meal in the sitting room adjacent. A little biscotti or even a petit four with the coffee would have been a nice touch but was not offered. We enjoyed the visit. £100 two courses for two people, plus bottle of wine and two coffees. That includes a 10% service charge added to the bill. Don'tthey know it's 2023? Just increase the prices by 10% and omit the service charge -- it just rubs people up the wrong way. (Some people will then add their voluntary tip on top anyway.)
