The best restaurants in Bristol, City of South West

Great coffee shop & bakery. Fantastic selection of food, would prefer coffee in non paper cups but that’s a small issue.

The staff couldn't be nicer and our experience is the same excellent standard every time we come back. Bosco's is my favourite restaurant, possibly in the world (and I've lived all over). The staff, the ambience, the music, the FOOD, the drinks. Perfect. Special thanks to Alex and Cat for always being so lovely and welcoming.

Four of us visited on a quiet monday evening. Background music very unobtrusive. Cool, but not cold. Very friendly staff. Super menu and superb food, cooked 'open plan'. The fried jackfruit seeds are very tasty, not seen them before. Well worth a visit. We visited again on Thursday evening. This time it was fairly busy so more atmospheric. It was quieter after 8pm. The food was fantastic, especially the venison curry. The rest was all vegetarian or vegan and all very well presented and tasty. We think the best way to eat here is to order more dishes than you can eat, share them and take the rest home to savour later ( we took a reusable container with us, planning to !). The 'Cooler' drink was very tasty, I also thought the house red wine was very good. Very friendly staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that we shall return and repeat. Thanks, Sam.

Would definitely recommend to anyone. We had a wonderful time here for an anniversary dinner. The food was really good and we enjoyed that we were given time with each dish to finish it before moving on. As they're sharing plates, it was nice to not have several dishes at once. They had run out of the wine we wanted but we're suggested another bottle which was good. Service was great once it was underway, there were 2 large tables finishing as we arrived which took some time to complete.

The pub is fantastic, great atmosphere and good beer selection, staff are nice. Can't comment on the food because I've never tried it; it's a pub not a restaurant.

Este es un tipo de bar muy diferente y muy bienvenido. Preciosos cócteles y un gran servicio. Estaba tranquilo cuando estuvimos allí un lunes por la tarde, pero espero que tendría que reservar los fines de semana.

The food was 10/10, the best chicken kothu me and my partner have tried. Truly authentic and the staff were amazing and really friendly. I would highly recommend and we will be back whenever we are in the area. If you are looking for authentic Sri Lankan food this is the place!

It's good but the service is so unbelievably slow it's not worth it

Our usual host Grace was on holiday but we were well looked after again by Maui who did an amazing job of keeping our drinks and food flowing. Again, amazing effort and lots of fun. Highly recommended, especially for birthday celebrations
