The best restaurants in Bristol, City of South West

We went all in with the FEAST tasting menu, with wine flight. The food was exquisite and atmosphere convivial - perfect for a cold Friday night in January!

The staff are real friendly and accommodating. Would recommend a visit. Note that the drinks are small but flavorful, so it's easy to draw up a bill if you're thirsty!

Great beer garden in the summer

Wow real authentic Indian food! Best we have had for a long time. Recommend their Street Curry and Dhal that said the Dosa and Ghobi Manchurian were also delicious.

A perfect place to have authentic Indian food. Food was really very tasty and quality is excellent. Also, they have variety of options on their menu right from street food items to the main course.

Original review at the very end of this. Unreal! Arrived there 10:30pm New Years eve after checking the night before that they were open and we could come. They had locked the doors, not because they were busy, because they made that decision. They didn't tell us the night before and ruined our chance to celebrate. Despite reasoning, logically and politely. Obviously not great for me, a local that wanted to celebrate there. So, nice pub, good atmosphere, but management very inconsiderate. Totally ruined an important night where plans were specifically made. So, never going back again! Customers lost forever. It was the easiest thing to do to accept logical genuine reason, but stubborn is stubborn and should be pointed out. If I won't edit original review (below), because it was genuine, but it is ironic that the response was "Come and see us again soon x" "Dominus mentes et oculos in templo deae amittat". One of just a few real pubs left in the city, A place where you can quickly talk to strangers, I say quickly because within minutes, they are no longer strangers. Many places used to be like that, sadly less and less these days. A real warm atmosphere. Thank you. Nuff said.

Always a warm welcome and the food is good value, tasty and fresh. The saksuka starter was delicious with flatbread.

Staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. They won't just get to recommend an expensive bottle but really listen to what you like. Excellent cheese too!

Lovely. Tons of vegan cake options (even more than non-vegan ones). The apple cinnamon muffin was absolutely bomb.

Quite a good option for the price. The location is quite industrial, but just a few minutes walk from the Temple Meads. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. The last but not the least, one of the best full english I ever had. Highly recommended.
