This café is NOT closed as at 25/05/2024. I just had an excellent coffee and cake, and I must say that the menu looks delicious, great service and dog friendly too. Will definitely call again.

Holm was a great experience! The hotel is very nice and the staff are lovely. The food is superb and served in portions one can enjoy without having to miss dessert (due to over-eating). It’s an experience, and I for one want to go back again - soon! One thing to note is that there’s no hotel parking, due to its location, but there’s a nearby free car park.

We were a big group visiting a friend who lives near here, so after she shared some options, we all chose this place. Location wise, it’s easy to find just off the road and has a good sized car park. As a big group, we’d booked ahead and even though it was sunny, most of the tables are undercover. There’s a small play area too which the 18 month year old with us loved. Also great that they’re dog friendly. We ended up ordering at least one of every dish (see photo of the menu). Service was really good, food was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Holm Somerset is simply amazing. The Tasting menu that we chose was delicious. The service from Shaun and his team was personable and professional and they made everyone welcome. Set in an old bank, the decor and art work pleasant to the eye. We had a lovely evening and will return.

Had a tasty cod, chips and peas dinner at the Naval Volunteer Inn, Seavington St Michael on Saturday. I think it was both cooked and served by the landlady who was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a new beer (to me): a galss of Tornado from The Windy Brewing Company

A delightful location in a delightful village… but looks can be deceptive. Step inside and the greeting is terribly rude and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t venture in there again.

Not wheelchair accessible I'm in a electric wheelchair there was no ramp to the door and the cafe was up steps so we just left disappointed

We go to The Seavingtons regularly for lunch. If you don’t know what you fancy there is always a good selection on the specials board as well as an extensive menu. Prices are very reasonable and the food and service is excellent. Considering most of the staff are volunteers in both the shop and cafe I think it’s a lovely place to both eat and do a bit of shopping 👍

We used to go to Farm and Field at least 3 times a month but since its recent ‘refurb’ it has gone downhill. The staff seem less invested, the prices have increased excessively and the food quality has deteriorated. This morning when I asked for a sausage sandwich, I was told it wasn’t on the menu; only after pushing did the server ‘ask the kitchen’ who said they could do it but presented me with a dry sandwich with no butter in a cardboard box rather than on a plate. 2 dry sausage sandwiches and 2 black coffees was £21 which I feel is excessive for the self-service style café. It’s a shame as we used to love it but will not be returning.

Celebrating a birthday lunch. The place is spotlessly clean and well laid out. The food was exceptional. From gnocchi to Steak and Ale pie thete was something for everyone. The people here are extremely helpful and pleasant and we were made to feel very welcome. Can't wait to return and try other items from the menu.
