The best restaurants in South Somerset South West

I had a very bad experience before. Came here after almost 1 here. TBH they are changed. I have seen their services which is really improved. And, served food really quick. Also staffs are really well behaved. They have changed a lot.

Had food from order to be delivered nearly 2hours later it came very poor delivery lady if you order any thing best go down to get it x

It took nearly an hour! My whole family was starving! We ended up waiting by the window staring out like puppies and opened the door as it pulled up. BUT fantastic pizza. Filling. Tasty. Topping to sauce ratio couldn't be better. I don't know if it was because we were so hungry but I don't remember dominos ever tasting better

Gave it another go tonight after (see below!) Absolutey minging! The pizza dough tasted like the plastic box it had been stored in!! Like Literally ! - my pizza tasted of plastic!! Urgghhhh!! Older review Have ordered so very many many times for Star. Last time tonight! Portion sizes have dwindled down so much! And what I just paid £10.50 for was an absolute joke. Yes we did order lots didn’t we!

Terrible food, no service to speak of, staff must hear complaints all the time as they don't seem to care about anything. The food choice is always poor with most things on the menu unavailable, always get turned away even if the restaurant is empty. Beer tastes horrible takes ages to get served and everything is very overpriced for what you get, stay away if you can and go somewhere else.

Stupid sigmas gave me the wrong order.

If you walking and order a breakfast make sure you get a seat and a prepared for a long wait. It appears the sole priority of staff is to service the Drive Thru customers and ignore walk in clients. I don't understand how my order took an age yet drive thru's were served within minutes....

manager(?) is really passive aggressive and rude, started trying to stack the chairs on our table while we were still eating? absolutely bizarre

I have never known such a slow service anywhere. The system you are using to take orders, make drinks and serve food badly needs revising and stream lining. It is slow and totally inefficient. I waited for 10 minutes in a long queue that didn't move, but then gave up and went elsewhere.

worst fish and chips i've ever had, cold fish and hard horrible chips, curry sauce was nice though. service was quick and friendly.

I’ve only ever eaten food from this place twice and will never again. Tiger Chan 20 seconds over the road is infinitely better. The order consisted of crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour beef honk kong style, ribs, egg fried rice and a started selection. The sauce in every dish was exactly the same. The crispy chilli beef was so crunchy it made my jaw ache and my gums sore. The spring rolls were soggy and not very nice, the crispy seaweed in the starter selection was alright to begin with but at the bottom was sodden with sugary/salty mush. Honestly it was all a colossal letdown. Not to mention there was a baby out the back screaming and crying I can only assume in the kitchen? Not a place for a baby! And to top it off they get awfully upset when you tell them you don’t have cash and the cash machine is broken. They very reluctantly take card. This SCREAMS tax evasion. Just avoid this awful place at all costs for god sake. Tiger Chan is so much better in every way.

All Morrisons cafes are the same. The same menu but it ends there. Wincanton has some good staff making your visit just a little better . Outstading value for money breakfasts. Never had a bad coffee. Credit where it's due , 5 stars from me
